I was an angsty teenager during the peak of Stampy but my younger sister absolutely loved his content, I use to be unfair (as any teenage brother is) to what she watched but Stampy was the one content creator I "approved" of at the time lol, much respect for him.

Yep same with me, my youngest brother loved him. I was able to see a video and approved of it for him too. Crazy how people have nostalgia for this guy now, I was a bit too old for it. I grew up watching yogscast instead.
Stampy is one of the few CZcamsrs I know who made child-friendly content without being...too friendly toward said children. He's an absolute role model and a pillar of light in many people's childhoods.

Sunny does have a bit of problem where he claims that someone’s downfall happened when they either do everything they wanted to do and retire or just continue doing what they love with although having it be a bit less popular.

i think hes the only minecraft youtuber that wasnt problematic. even with l for lee, he handled it really well and did a really good job to tell others why he left
Well, Stampy did lie about one part of the L for Lee allegations. Towards the end of Lee's appearance Stampy said that the L for Lee character was being played by someone else in the description of his videos (this is no longer there though). Lee, in his own video addressing the allegations said it was always him right until the end. So, you have to take Lee's word for that. But there wouldn't be much point in Lee saying this unless it was true because he left to protect Stampy's reputation in the first place. So spreading false information would just oppose Lee's own reason for leaving.
Other than this, Stampy handled the situation remarkable well considering the entire situation (the nature of the allegations and Stampy's young audience). Not going into why Lee left as to not draw more attention to it etc.

I met Stampy while I was working at a gaming event in a museum a good few years ago, I was running the Minecraft area and he was doing a VIP meet and greet thing and playing a bit of Minecraft with some of the visitors. Got to chat to him before it started and he seemed like a genuinely nice guy - approachable, down to earth and friendly. Also I was entirely unfamiliar with who he actually was at the time and kept referring to him as Stampy Long Foot.

everytime i hear stampy's voice, i always get a warm feeling as if the world wasnt so stressful and everyone around you is fine, i remember the times i watched stampy with my cousin and everything was care-free and i just wish i could relive them.. watching this made me just stare into the ceiling as my heart just felt tickles as i was remembering the memories, and i dont know if im either sad or happy... im just thankful.

as someone who watched his videos as a kid and later went on to primarily be a detail builder whenever I play the game (thanks Grian), I realize now that his world from the OG letsplays are genuinely really impressive. Of course he had help but creating a world that has a sprawling and yet homey feel like that is difficult, and can only really be done right over the course of years.
The man has achieved the full life cycle of being a CZcamsr. He made it to the retirement stage. He left an impact on the world and that itself won’t be forgotten

This man practically raised a generation by himself. I remember getting excited each Friday and I woke up early Saturday morning to watch his videos. I also tried to recreate some of his builds like his rocket ship which I know many people at the time did, but sadly, every good thing eventually comes to an end. I grew up and his videos just weren't very appealing to me anymore and I also moved on to other games other than Minecraft. I am 14 years old now and just graduated middle school and it seems like just yesterday. I will never forget you Stampy. Thanks for all the amazing memories.

I recently got back to playing Minecraft. Especially with background noise that has me smiling.
After years, I've gone back to watching Stampy from video one on Minecraft and ongoing.
His voice is soothing, his jokes are simple and funny, and he's so chill that it helps me be chill as I play.

I was with my friend last year and we both grew up watching Stampy. One afternoon, my friend pulled up one of Stampy's old videos where he was building a bathroom, i dont remember much, but memories came flooding back and we got so invested in this one small video. When it was over, i felt like i just got a flashback of my entire childhood, a part of it i hope i will never forget again.

I stopped watching when I was maybe.. 7? 8? Maybe 9? Now, getting close to a decade later, I only just realized he's still making videos. I feel like I could cry. I can't believe I had forgotten about all the time I'd spent and memories I'd made with his videos.
I knew Stampys cousin when I was younger. He was on my class and shared the last name gatrrot. It's been years since I talked to the kid. And he may have made it up.
His videos shaped me. I made Lego stop motions about him on my old channel, which further inspired me to make my own Minecraft content. Which led to my videos today.

whenever i hear his voice or name or see his face, i can’t help but shed a tear. I remember i met him once for the 2015 book and i met squashie too. I remember i queued up for an hour and i met a friend and we saw squashie and wr had a deep conversation with squashie for about half an hour and left for half an hour to que up more and we came back and had mother conversation for half an hour. He was my childhood, and i remember his first video i ever watched to the last i ever watched. I remember other kids leaking old videos of him swearing and i remember being shocked and scared that he’ll get and i quote “told off”. Good times, i think he’s one of the legends that kept youtube alive. Thank you stampy for making my childhood one of the best childhoods a child could ever have. ❤️

I didnt watch Stampy when i played minecraft alot but i heard of him and how much he meant to people and the impact he had on their lives. Seeing this video, hearing the all familiar song play in the background reminds me of better days long since past, days where i didnt have to worry about anything and growing up was a distant thought. @@bloogibloo9901 I still remember theese good 'ol videos from 2013 and 2012....its disapointing to see that the ONLY channel sitll active from my ,,First cast" of favorite channels is SMG4 , and from the ,,second cast" half are unactive and the other half make shitty kids videos.

I am now slowly realising that most of my childhood youtubers are dying or completely stopped playing or uploading. I used to watch their old videos to remind me of my past and it helps me with my stress now that i am older. It is really sad to see most of them changed or died.

Though it's true. I remember when i was younger i loved his videos. Some how i grew out of, we all changed together. New kids now-a-days wouldn't know of Stampy unless they were there from the beginning.
Now it’s all fortnite, I remember I use to watch stampy a lot, hopefully these 9 year olds realize fortnite won’t remind you of childhood unlike stampy and his Minecraft did.
Yeah it was fun, even though I haven’t watch one of his videos in years. And yet I can remember events from a lot of the videos like it was yesterday. I feel fortnite caused the downfall of a lot of channels and games. And so I really just respect channels that have stuck to their ways. I’ll miss stampy but I’m glad I was able to watch his videos. You just unlocked a core memory. I used to love watching Stampy, although i don't watch him now he was one of my favorite mc streamers, next to Popularmmos and Preston playz.
Stamps was truly one of the goats. He shaped our childhoods in a way few people did. He deserves eternal respect as one of the CZcams legends.

Yep i loved his video when i was kid but now im older there not as entertaining he once was for me his channel didnt evolve with his viewers and id love to see stampy being relevant again but i dont think that will happen
