My name is Kelsey.
In today's video, I hope to bring you inspiration for meals to make for your family.
It is so easy to get burned out on trying to find ideas for dinner time.
The recipes will be posted here in the description box, as well as the link to the cheese grater below.
Taco salad recipe:
1 lb ground beef
1 bottle thousand island dressing
1 bag of plain Doritos/taco flavored Doritos
1 head of lettuce
1 bag of shredded cheese
1 can ranch style beans
Brown ground beef and season with taco seasoning.
Chop lettuce and store in a bowl in a fridge until ready to to assemble salad.
Drain and rinse the beans.
One the meat has cooled after cooking, assemble all ingredients into a big bowl and toss. Top with whatever you like!
Smothered Pork chops:
Boneless pork chops
1 green bell pepper
half of 1 large onion
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 cup chicken broth or water
1 tbsp flour
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp minced garlic
Season both sides of pork chops to your liking
Heat butter in skillet and add pork chops.
Cook on both sides 3-4 minutes until seared.
Remove all pork chops and rest on a plate.
Chop bell pepper & onion and add to the drippings in the pan followed by a little more butter.
Cook down till soft and add garlic until fragrant
Add flour and whisk until bubbly, add broth and can of cream of chicken then let simmer.
Place pork chops into crock pot and top with gravy.
Cook on high for 4 hours.
Serve over rice or mashed potatoes!

I sear most of my meats, and space them in a pan. If not you will boil your meat and won’t get that beautiful sear! Your meals look delicious! I’m one of 9 siblings, and my mom taught us all to cook and bake! Even my 3 brothers know how to cook! I’m 71 and my daughter comes over twice a week to help cook!

I enjoyed watching you prepare all of the meals..my husband Is 59 years old, and I've just got him to eat plain Jane meat loaf..yellow rice casserole, dressing...hes always eat meat, mashed potatoes n gravy or home made mac n chez...and homemade biscuits..well he got diagnosed about a year ago with diabetes..so we have had to change up everything...lol..so when I see others cooking meals, I enjoy it, and try to get any type of inspiration I can, to help me with new dishes..keep up your great work sweetie...tfs... have a blessed weekend..

Thank you for sharing these recipes. When are you going to print your first cookbook. The Lasagna looked so good. I’m a Louisiana girl and love Cajun food. I fixed the taco salad for tonight’s taco night . With black olives and some taco sauce added to mine as well as the tomatoes and cheese.

@@Fivebirdsnest I was telling my husband about it and he’s like thousand island dressing on taco salad? lol. He said he would be putting salsa on his instead . I liked it and can see fixing it when we’re camping during the summer for our potlucks that we have throughout the summer months on hot days!

@@Fivebirdsnest I found one of those glass clear coffee cups like the one you found at Goodwill if you’d like it . If I find things that some of the people I follow are looking for , I ask them if they would like to have it . I have other ones that are taller from Walmart that I have and like for my coffee. No chips or anything wrong with it if you’d like to add to your other one. Just let me know.
Natasha's Kitchen just released a how to on getting a sour dough starter started. I thought it was an excellent tutorial. She also plans on giving recipes to use your starter.😊

Also, if you’d like to try a Mediterranean inspired type of salad, you might like this one. I make it often and we love it.
Black olives
Green olives
Artichoke hearts
Pimientos
Tomatoes
Mozzarella cheese balls
Combine, even ratio. For marinade, I just poured a little of the dressing from the artichoke hearts container. You can make it into a pasta salad. Maybe add little meats too. I haven’t tried it with the meats. It’s delicious!

They loved the lasagna and pick chops! They don’t like the salad too much because of the lettuce
