Wild caught fishes and organic vegetables are the best choice for healthy eating. Also native and organic chicken and eggs are delicious and healthy. Thanks for the tour. May Allah guide you always to the right path. Take care.

Yeah... As an Aussie I cringe at the reality of so much red tape to even have a market stall. If one thing beats the west always, its the fact an Asian can set up a business outside their own home. My experience across Asia anyway. Western craftsmanship deserves some sort of fair access to make it more viable in the very least. Governments will pay for this in the future for sure.

I'm always a nerves when we go to gen san to visit my wife's relatives can be a very dangerous place for a foreigner these days was not so bad on my first visit back in 1999
People are nice, need more regulations and democracy so feeling of community holds a positive phase.
As a foreigner there never was a day I felt unsafe. I lived there and will be back soon. You should always be aware of your surroundings whereever you are...In every country 😉

When I lived in Davao 2005-2007 I wanted to visit general Santos because Pacqiao is from there, but everyone insisted it is too dangerous for me to go.

I was there rent a room at ALMA RESIDENCES very nice and cheap hotel, but not spacious it's ok though, if you are a foriegneer without car you can experience the very expensive transpo riding a trike, and one thing i don't like in gensan is the streets are very dark at night the lighting post are not functioning.
I was planning to visit Gensan soon but I was told because of Covid the borders in and around the city are closed. Is this true? The person I was planning on visiting has family in the providence and I was told the family can not visit in the city because the borders are closed. Do you have any information on this? Thank you for posting. Gensand looks like a beautiful place.

7:57 brave of you you come to that place, I had been living in GenSan for 20 years and the only thing that comes to my mind is horror, the bombing incidents in GenSan public market are still engraved in my mind.
Only Smart and Honest attitude will make our world NORMAL and we will be able to live in pleasant environment as we do in Europe.
