I bought one almost 3 years ago. I have not used it yet. I watched videos and you could be a spokesperson for the brand fer SURE. Thanks for doing a review. That property is incredible btw. I was humming the America song in my head while you was driving to Grandma Carol's lol.
Nice. Thank you!
We are Electrical contractors so we usually install Generac or Kholer systems but it's pricey to have installed we usually charge about $5K for the install and is about $5K for the generator. So it's about a $10K investment for most homes. And that will not give you but about 60 to 75 Amps on 240. So you can't run alot on even one of those.
Love the new channel Tim!
Wow! Didn’t know it was that expensive. Thx!
@@ridgelifereviewshowtos IF... i had to invest on a standby for the house liquid cooled is the way to go but 15k plus.
@@rockystelone21 very true!
Thanks for explaining everything so well. I’m about to set my generator up and it was nice to have things explained. Appreciate you.
Glad it was helpful!
When the trees get ice, it’s so pretty. Hearing limbs break in the silence of the night is kinda cool too. Until it get a power line.
Very true!
Good review TIm. I'm sure you really need it there. I remember ice storms in Missouri!
For sure! Thx!
👍🏻😎I live in an urban environment and have used mine several times.
Oh yeah!
Awesome Video Thanks for sharing
My pleasure!
Surprised you don't have a lot more subs. This was an excellent video. Beautiful home too.
Thank you so much!
Nice review 😁👍. Happy Thanksgiving 💞
Thanks Mary!
Great idea on the channel man! Happy Thanksgiving to you and family👊
Thanks brother! Gonna start big things on the main channel soon!
@@ridgelifereviewshowtos awesome man can’t wait to see what you got cookin👊
First comment ever! Generators definitely take the stress out of power outages.
Thanks Bruce!
Subscribed!!!!
Thanks Mark!
Thank you.
Welcome!
Nice
Thanks!
I have this same generator and I can run it either on gasoline or charcoal gas using a gasifier. I had a 30 amp inlet installed on the house with a generator interlock on the panel. Man, do I wish I had that property.
That’s so cool. Thanks!
I just bought this unit today and I really like it. You video is very informative, thank you.
On an other note, that is some gorgeous country you have there. You are very blessed.
How's the deer hunting?
Thanks so much. Get a couple deer every year! Love it!
Thank you. Such a great video. Do I plug my trailer electric cord in it before I start the generator or after I start it? Thank you again.
It doesn't matter but its best to turn the ac breaker on last or the load in the traile on last after everything is plugged in.
👍

Thanks Brian
How should you store this generator? Do you fill it all the way and then add in a fuel stabalizer? Any brand you would recommend? Also how often do you drain the oil and replace it?
Change oil 25hrs first time then every 50hrs of use. I turn off fuel valve and let run empty and then put stabilizer on tank with fuel. Stabil is brand I use.
Can you use a regular car battery for a generator and what other kinds of batteries you can use for a generator ?
Sure. Lawn battery works too.
What is that 12V charging cable that the generator comes with?
The manual doesn't specify what it is for. Is it for charging the battery?
Hmm Sorry. I don't recall getting one.
Why would my predator 8750 trip the breaker unless I use an adapter eliminating the ground pin. Every time I plug in a cord without the adapter it trips. I haven’t actually grounded the generator but I wouldn’t think that would have anything to do with it. My neighbor has a smaller predator inverter that requires the same reducer due to tripping the breaker when plugging in a cord instantly
Hmm.. Got me on that one.
I have this gen & I have a one ton mini split & a different AC units & it doesn’t work I think it need a 30amp instead of 20
Hmm. It should work with all minisplits.
What kinds of oil it use ? Where do you put the oil in at ? Is it better to use ethanol free gas ? How to connect the battery ?
I show that in the video. Ethanol free would be better.
My 8750 will not reach 240 volts on the digital display and I understand others have the same problem. Is there a fix or do I need to drain the unit and return it to Harbor Freight?
Yeah, it's a generator issue it sounds like.
Did not show about grounding or the throttle. Watched him drive almost whole video.
I don’t ground for portable but if leaving for long time will. There isn’t a throttle just a choke. There is auto throttle or high switch.
Weird I just bought one, fired it up and it stays stuck on 120v lost power in a snowstorm last night needed the 240 for the furnace… took it back this morning, got a new one, built it , fired it up and same thing. 121v I don’t get it.. watching your video I did the exact same shit and 120. Must be a bad batch
Weird!
Was showing the long drive video part necessary?
absolutely not. I originally had this on my main channel where content is longer.
Don't like it? Don't watch.
Don't be a tard
Time to stop talking and get the generator running
Ha! Thx
Time to stop posting and go follow Joe Biden
Decaf? LOL
Never!
Predator is not known for their quality. Do not put all your eggs in 1 basket. You better have a plan B, because the likelihood of that generator dying when you need it most is very high. When that day comes, remember you heard it right here first.
Very true. Thank you!
Chinese stuff run great for about 100 hours. After a few repairs back in action for another 10 hours. Then straight to Craigslist. Lesson - buy a Honda.
@@rebellucy6200 For certain things I go by the "Buy once, Cry once" saying. If something is cheaper, there is a reason for it.
200 hours so far. No issues!
@@ridgelifereviewshowtos but will you let it be known when it fails you? Or will you keep that quiet?
