Could someone give me an answer for why Lylat is banned? It isn't jank in Ultimate, and it fulfills a smaller stage position.

Alex ziegenfelder it fucks the mechanic of 2 frames and ledge snapping, the slants also makes grabs inconsistent on each side because of the ankle, i think gluttony got a whiffed grab in front of his opponent and just didn’t get anything, died and lost the tourney, i can’t remember which however
The slants on Lylat mess with 2 frames, ledge snapping, grabs, autocancel windows, and combos.
@@dogwglock I'm actually not sure how it would or quite frankly could mess with the mechanical side of 2-framing, could you go a bit further into how it does that? Or does it just make both of them more difficult and that's why no one wants it.
EDIT, on the issue of the slants, I don't see how it's inconsistent, it should consistently make some grabs whiff with proper hurtbox management from the defending player, which is a reason to make it a counterpick stage rather than starter, not a reason to remove it from the stagelist, same goes for the slants on Yoshi's Story, which should also be legal at more toournaments.
