Just adding my 2 cents to set the record straight. Both Will and his X-wife have said it was she who wanted and filed for divorce. She felt Will was not around enough for them to have a real relationship. Will didnt want to divorce her until she said "do you really want to stay with someone who doesnt love you?"
Yes, finally someone who thinks for themselves, it doesn't add up. word was she caught him with benny madea. But now we know about dwayne martin, who introduced jada to will. so what if it was dwayne first wife caught will with. And he got her (first wife) pregnant before marriage too, just like jada. I don't think jada knew he was gay at first, look at the pics. Now, this is an out going woman, why is she just hanging out with her mother and daughter. further, why is her talk show done on will's estate, she's in control right? And why was his book released first, not adding up.
I think all women, including myself, have a chance to learn by example....both the good and the bad. Jada is a prime example of who and what not to be as a wife. Keep your husband's name respected. Keep your personal business with your husband private. Appreciate his gestures and gifts, given out of his love. Appreciate and fully accept a man and treat him like a man deserves to be treated, as an equal partner. Be a Queen, and treat a good man like a King. Jada is one of those people that cannot ever be happy or satisfied. Nothing. Her book is talking about her journey to "deep healing" and going to all these different places, taking the plant medicine, looking into spirituality, etc but hopefully one day she realizes her key to finding deep healing starts with HER. Her admitting fault, showing herself how to self reflect, how to learn how to be humble and grateful. Learning when to stay silent. Learning self control.
These are things holding her back.

Jada coming out speaking on Pac, truly shows the class and dignity for themselves, but also the true love and respect Pac’s REAL ex-wife and Fiancé have, for not BLASTING Jada and pulling her card. It also shows how protective they are of his name and legacy, to not sell it to the highest bidder and keeping their private and intimate moments, just that.

While I agree with that, I also feel it's just a lot simpler than that. Jada is not in love with Will Smith and never has been. She has seen him as a good friend. And someone who will ride or die with her. But she has never had romantic feelings towards him. She has had to force those feelings for the past two decades. And now she's at a point where she's just exhausted from trying to force love that isn't there.
Will Smith wrote in his recent memoir that he screwed up his marriage. It's just easier to blame Jada. They're separated. They have had an open relationship for years. They share equally in their fortune and money matters more than fame.

It's like she prior knew some unflattering things about him but external influential forces on her side caused her to marry Will to bring the fame and money into her circle. She played the role by having the kids and all that but just by the Family and marital standard they adopted, tells you clearly, they both had ulterior motives as a reason for their union. The problem with Will is that he underestimated Jada's energy, motive, goals, feelings, purpose and overrated her feelings for him. From August affairs admitted by Jada, he should have changed his course and zeal and perspective of his marriage especially knowing he also had his demons of same sex attraction to tame and be in control of. The slap was all really Will's issue but Jada was the principal contributing factor which brewed in their union with one another. Will failed to understand Jada's issue is psychological and needed to be addressed by a psychotherapist and at the same time failed to treat himself to therapy for his sexuality and other unaddressed personal issues...my take !
