Bf Berlin Friedrichstraße Oktober 2020 mit 481, 402, 101, 182, 147

Eine Familienfeier führte mich im Oktober 2020 nach Berlin. Den Vortag der Feier nutzte ich für Sightseeing und natürlich blieb ich auch ein Moment am Bahnhof Friedrichstraße und fertigte einige recht schöne Motive an.

Es war mitten in der Coronazeit, die ersten Wellen schwächten gerade etwas ab aber der Aufenthalt in den Bahnhöfen und die Fahrt mit den Öffis war ohne Maske undenkbar. Das hielt uns aber nicht davon ab, uns einige Sehenswürdigkeiten von Berlin anzuschauen. So z.B. das Brandenburger Tor, den Reichstag, Spreebogen, Bahnhof Friedrichstraße, Dom, Museumsinsel, Ägyptisches Museum, Checkpoint Charlie, Currywurst-Stand ...
Moment, Stopp: Bahnhof Friedrichstraße: Hier machten wir eine Pause, meine Frau ging bummeln und ich fertigte einige schöne Aufnahmen aus dem Alltagsgeschehen auf den Bahnsteigen an. Da ich seit 2005 nicht mehr in Deutschland wohne, sondern nun in Österreich, waren dies für mich die ersten Begegnungen mit den IC4 und dem Taurus im DB-Branding - aber mit der gleichen schönen Tonleiter wie die ÖBB 1016. Nichts desto trotz begegneten mir auch sehr gute und alte Bekannte wie der IC1 mit 101 oder der IC2. Beide Zugtypen werden ja in Zukunft sukzessive aus dem Verkehr gezogen und immer seltener zu sehen sein. Am besten gefiel mir die Erst-Sichtung einer Baureihe 147 vor der Hausnummer 147 :)

A family celebration took me to Berlin in October 2020. The day before the party was for sightseeing and of course I stayed for a moment at Friedrichstraße station and took some really nice pictures.

It was the middle of the Corona period, the first waves were just starting to subside a little, but staying in the stations and travelling on public transport was unthinkable without a mask. But that didn't stop us from seeing some of Berlin's sights. For example, the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, Spreebogen, Friedrichstraße station, the cathedral, Museum Island, the Egyptian Museum, Checkpoint Charlie, a currywurst stand ...
Wait, stop: Friedrichstraße station: we took a break here, my wife went for a stroll and I took some nice pictures of everyday life on the platforms. As I haven't lived in Germany since 2005, but now live in Austria, these were my first encounters with the IC4 and the Taurus in DB branding - but with the same beautiful scale as the ÖBB 1016. Nevertheless, I also came across some very good old acquaintances such as the IC1 with 101 or the IC2. Both train types will be gradually withdrawn from service in the future and will be seen less and less often. My favourite was the first sighting of a class 147 in front of house number 147 :)
