I have the same bike 24 Onyx pearl white RG. Great bike, but the wind noise was killing me with half helmet or full face. I went with the 10" Harley shield and it's night and day how much better it is. I can hear my music on the highway now. Look forward to more of your upgrades as they become available. Great bike I love mine.
I hear ya man, the amount of wind protection I get from this is just worlds better than my sport and naked bikes so I have nothing to complain about.

I bought my 24 Road Glide on Jan 29. There were no aftermarket windshields available back then. I’m 6’ 1” and needed more wind protection. (Most of my riding is on the highway). I paid through the nose for a Harley 12” light smoke tinted windshield.
Thanks for one of the first aftermarket product reviews for the new bikes. And yes where I am, just about everyone freeway waves.
Same here, picking mine up January 30th, it was exciting but also nerve racking having NO information about the bikes, or parts available, we still are so in the dark with part availability and what not for now but we’ll get there.
Freeway waving was never a thing for sport bike riding, especially with a barrier between the directions of travel, I guess I’ll have to get in the habit 😅

You have to keep that vent open all the time. Minimizes wind buffeting.
Klockwerkz released some windshields at Daytona. Taller ones I saw. Yours looks very cool 👊
Look forward to them getting em out for sale online for the public!! I doubt I’ll end up switching mine out since this one rocks, but who knows!!

Klockwerks actually does have one I saw it at Daytona this week. Harley wind splitter is what I have on mine it did well on the 2400 mile round trip.
They may have had one on a bike there, but I just checked again, on KlockWerks’ website currently they have nothing available for the 2024’s.
@@OffWeekGarage think it’s probably the same as their 23 CVO windshields they are sold out currently
Just checked again, 2023 CVO brings this message up on their website.
“We've got some exciting news for you - we're in the werks of developing something special: the Flare™ Windshield for the Harley-Davidson® 2023 CVO Road Glide.”
So still nothing available from them for these new bikes.
@@OffWeekGarage I saw a bunch on some bikes at Daytona so hopefully we will see something soon. The Harley wind splitter is great for now for me. I prefer as little wind as possible for ultra distance touring that I did with it this week. I got the 10”
@@PUREOWN With the 10" Harley, did you have any trouble with the curved portion of that windshield producing distortion? I was going to get the 10", but when seated on the bike, I was looking directly through the curved part (top) part of the windshield. Going to try the 5" Harley and maybe the windshield in this video.

Looks good! I don't buy anything from alibaba but I'd pick one up an American made one. And no I don't typically freeway wave ...waving to someone across 4 lanes of highway with a median is kind of silly imo.
I totally support buying American, this was just the most readily available this early on in the new model year. I agree on the freeway wave, I feel bad if I don’t reciprocate it though.

Nice job, keep the videos coming. Are you planning on upgrading your speakers or adding additional speakers and an amp? I cut into my bag lids on my 2022 to add speakers. Currently running a Hertz amp and 6 speakers.
I have upgraded JBL speakers in my helmet and usually run coms with friends riding so I don’t know if I’ll upgrade speakers, it would probably be a good video installing that though so if there’s some interest in it I’d consider it!! Performance stuff is more my go to at the current moment though!
@@OffWeekGarage we need to get together then, I did the 131 Stage IV and the Öhlins reservoir rear shocks on mine. I also added a tour pak and a bunch of other stuff as well. Let me know when you’re going to be up in the Marysville area, we can meet up at Sound Harley in Smokey Point.
Sounds great!! I want to do the rear resi shocks and forks, not sure if I’ll do cartridges or a full on inverted setup. The 131 stage 4 is my goal as well 😅

What about grips u using stock still? What u think of them ?
Still running stock grips, they’re great for now. I looked into ODI waffle grips but the 2024 throttle grip design is different, it’ll be a few months before we can get anything other than other HD grips on the market.

Out of curiosity - Does your phone fit in the compartment on the dash? Did you still need it on the handlebar?
Phone fits great in the pocket no problem, and I have big iPhone 15 pro max. I run it on the bar for remote turning go pro on and off, previewing shots and changing settings!

I’m very happy with it! I got a 10” shield for long trips that you’ll see in some of my videos but don’t let that fool you, I will use the heck out of this 4.5” windshield during the summer to enjoy the breeze but avoid the buffeting!
