I actually never imagined canadians being that rude in comments and on/off the pitch , coach said things that should not say on tv, players never shook hands after the loss , the coach also never gave his hand to the croatian coach. And acros the youtube the fans from canada were really toxic. Glad they are out of the tournament , they really can’t behave. Shame on Canada
There were plenty of rude Croatians as well. That said, I was quite disheartened to hear some of the Canadian team did not shake after the match. That's not good at all.

Canadian goalie (who was born is Croatia) said they did all a handshake. TV showed it as well. Managers are first one to shake. That's a must.
To be honest us Croatians were happier that we got 4 past Borjan cause everyone in Croatia hates Borjan because of the idiotic things that he said.

I saw many times where they made Modric mad & it ended bad for the other teams but I guess it's Croat dna to play so good once they get mad, they become more focused & skillful.

Borjan family that now pretend to be victims and "refugees".

FIFA would probably suspend that player and his social network account would be banned. It's simple. Our team started playing at the expected level after first 20 minutes.

Atiba killed us. So slow and wasn’t focused. Herdman should have pulled him after 20 mins for Kone. Still would’ve lost but could’ve been a lot closer. Herdman firing up Croatia with his comments didn’t help either. The manager deserves the brunt of the blame.

Canada made a wrong decision to play A.Davis out of position for so long. His poor technique in midfield stifle their creativity and flow going forward. When he scored his goal the whole Canada team thought he was going to win them the game and the got caught out. Canada tactics was poor. Croatia was a better all round team who were effective in the right areas of the pitch.

We have a long way to go yet, and it shows. It hurst to admit that, but the Canada against Croatia was a different team than in CONCACAF.
Sadly Canada's defense is all MLS and they still can't finish against top sides. One pass to many or fumbles in the box. Oh well, take lessons from it and move on.

Canada football focuses on individual 1 on 1 skill rather than teaching the kids how to play the team game at an early age. Generations of Canadians will continue to play like this unless something changes at the grassroots level.
I wont necessarily say its went wrong for Canada. Its there first world cup appearance since 86,played so impressively against the second ranked team Belgium, they can learn a lot from the experience and build on that..

Canada reminded me of the old sub-Saharan national teams. They gather their great players scattered around the world and let them play ball instead of football.
Today, some African countries have reached the EU and SA in terms of responsibility in the game.
Morocco positively surprised me, I expected that at certain moments their system would fall apart and that they would then suffer heavily. They maintained the two game system, they have grown up and you should always count on them in the future.
Morocco is basically a european team from Africa. Almost all the players are playing in Europe's biggest teams so as moroccans we had lots of hopes despite the difficult group.
