Your mom knows her music. I'm as extreme of a metalhead as they come, but Michael Jackson will always be one of my favorite artists of all time. He is one of the most creative musical geniuses of all time. You should watch his full concert movie "This is it". It's both a concert, and a behind the scenes of his final performances, and you can see that his vision of every last move, or every detail of his shows all stems from his mind, and he is just unmatched. RIP to the king of pop!

michael jackson is one of britney's biggest influences, and MJ loved her as well. when you think about, she really is the female michael jackson. the superb dancing, the iconic and distinct vocals, their relationship with fame. this collab makes a LOT of sense to me.
I’d say Madonna is more close to the ‘Female Michael Jackson’ she has the different fashionable looks, handful of hits, albums of art, iconic videos, long standing career and both are perfectionists. BTW i’m not a Madonna stan but lets be real she’s far greater than Britney spears.

@@Ltforlife22 you are entitled to your wrong opinion, but let me explain it to you. britney and MJ are both incredible dancers. nearly all professional dancers cite them as an influecne, i never hear anyone talk about what a great dancer madonna is. she's a performer who can dance, but she's not on their level, nor are her choreographies. vocally, britney wins over madonna as well. i mean, i would love to hear madonna sing "open arms" or "i have nothing". i'm not sure how that would sound. you mentioned "different fashionable looks", which is very funny to me, considering everyone knows the schoolgirl uniform, the red latex outfit, britney & the snake, the denim duo outfits ETC ETC. can you yourself name even three memorable madonna looks that are not pointy bras or wedding dresses? i'm laughing at "long-standing career" too, because britney just became one of only 10 artists to have landed top 10 hits in 4 different decades in the US, UK and basically all over the world. finally, britney and MJ never deteriorated musically, which can't be said about the "queen of pop".

The High Point of that Jackson 5 anniversary show at Madison Square Garden was Michael doing Billie Jean he did a spectacular performance and dance routines and the crowd absolutely did a meltdown. You should react that sometime Biss, it’s about 10 minutes long.

Just realized, how MJ was walking back and forth and dancing, in his mid life years. and still sounded that good in impressive, I would been huffing and puffing and can't even talk... Lol which is why he did lip sync through half of his shows. Can ya blame him? Dudes gotta catch his breath. for a minute, especially has he got older

I'm going to debate you on something Michael's energy never died. This concert was supposed to be the launch of Michael's new album and his final tour at that time which was supposed to be the invincible tour.
But a very big tragedy happened in his home country and a very public dispute about his exit strategy from Sony spilled out too.
You asked the story of this concert, ok literally not even 3 days he appeared at vmas music awards and made a surprise improv dance that was less than a minute but it turned the whole 2001 mtv video music awards into insane chatter that Michael came from nowhere.
Then, like I said in the beginning this show was planned so was Britney who was woth Justin who was working alot with Michael that summer and fall so she was put into the show too.
I'm not joking this concert was sold out tribute show of all kinda of performing just for his songs and a few others. And he reunited with his brothers.
Michael's power never died I'm from New York people were taking out second mortgages to go to this concert. I had a front row ticket to Michael's final concerts front row tickets cost 2,600 pounds in London.
