As a person who watches your videos when you publish them I must say I love Bowser being there. It is realistic. Honestly, just because you are making videos does not mean you cease to be a person with a real life. You don't work in Hollywood with a studio, you work at home where he lives. I have recently started making vids and if my cat comes in I will push pause and give him snuggles. We all have a life and yours is beautiful too!

I will say, I'm not bothered by the faster speed builds, but I fully support your reasons for slowing videos down and I think it's easier to see the beauty of the build 🥰 I love this build and I've got the CC already. You're Delicato Lounge CC is the best and I use it every time I play!
I'm sorry for your loss, my condolences. I fully understand what it feels like, my grandmother died just before Christmas 2022... December 13th to be exact. Christmas for me, this past year was really sad.

What a fantastic build!! I love how closed the floorplan is, I also wouldn't like such a big place to be open (or at least too open). The olive colours, the wooden accents, the dark and gold pair... It truly looks fabulous!! I love the whole thing, but my favourite moment was this bedroom+bathroom at 28:02 because I love purple and sage, and the light is absolutely stunning here!!
Just getting around to watching this, I know I'm late and you might not see this but if you do, I really appreciate the slowing down. I don't tend to watch speed builds because they can be really hard to process. I hope to see this speed in the future, at least part of the time, if others prefer the faster ones. This was a really nice build! I'm glad I got to watch it ^^

I’ve been trying to renovate this apartment for so long and kept getting stuck! Oh my god. You completely encapsulated everything I was going for. I was inspired by the octave collection for this one too.
I super appreciate the slower build speed. There are some simmers I LOVE who will tour a house in first person and they move so quickly it gives me motion sickness. I find you have just the right touch for your builds, and then the tours at the end are slow enough were my tummy isn't doing flops.

We do have cordless hair dryers in America. I've seen some that last 40 minutes and I've seen ones that last almost an hour and a half.
I love Bowsers visits! He seems like such a sweet and lovable dog and he reminds me of a giant plushie, I just want to hug him 😂

Deli I'm OBSESSED with this apartment. It's absolutely gorgeous!!!!! These earthy tones are right up my ally!!!! Also I love seeing Bowser in the background, even with his snores. There's something comforting about him chilling in the background. It's like we're all hanging out haha

Deli, I just wanted to say I really appreciate the slower speed! I get motion sickness and sometimes watching speed builds makes me sick but this is perfect and relaxing. Also Bowser is a cutie - more Bowser!
This pace is perfect, actually. And the fact that it actually doesn't feel forced either at 1.25x is an amazing/surprising plus. Now I have the most sublime comfort of picking whether to take it leisurely at the regular speed, or pick up the pace and cover time with the faster playback speed. Your voice and your presentation really works well either way, Miss Deli; this formula is definitely it!
I just wanted to say that I love when Bowser is in your videos. I always love to see animals in the background of videos, it makes me smile. Especially cats - they are the best anti-stress/anti-anxiety/anti-depressants ever. I don't even hear the snoring. Also, seeing CZcamsrs with their animals just reminds you they are regular humans just like the rest of us, with families and pets. Big hug to both of you!
Big fan of a slow speed build! I’ve always had problems watching speed builds as a highly sensitive person. I’d much rather have a longer video, that’s just more time having new content :D

I never comment on your vids but I have to say that I appreciate a lot when content creators take in consideration the feedback they recieve and I can tell you care a lot about your audience so thank you, I appreciate the love you put in your videos and how you try to make them enjoyable for the people watching
You could make it a juice bar? our old house had a built in bar when my parents bought it. My mom didn't drink much either but she would put all the juices and cordials in the mini fridge behind the bar, so we would make our own virgin juice cocktails, it was fun as kids. My friends and I would pretend to be bar tenders and we had all our snacks stashed behind the bar. There was even a small ice machine and microwave. My mom eve bought a shaves ice machine, so we would make fruit flavoured shaved ice by using frozen juice.
I so agree on the speed. Like even if I don't get full motion sickness its still that feeling of it messing with your head too much? Too fast is fine but when it feels like a rollercoaster on drugs i have to skip around the video and click off pretty quickly lol (that's never happened with your videos though)
I'm sorry for your loss. I also lost my only grandpa between Christmas and New years, so this past month has been tough, glad we could have the memorial/funeral this week. It was short and sad, because my grandpa said he wanted everyone to not dwell when he passes and enjoy life. Even so I miss him a lot. Hope you are doing as good as you can. 💜

I enjoy watching your videos, and Love that you have slowed them down to 200. Now I can watch them without getting dizzy or having to pause or rewind to see what you are doing. I'd love to see all the other simmers consider doing it too. Please continue to show Bowser I love the way you two interact with one another. To remove the makeup off your headphones try using makeup remover, rubbing alcohol, or nail polish remover doesn't know if the nail polish remover will change the color of your headphone or not. I'm very much a cat person and i'm often feeling intimidated by dogs...
BUT I love Bowser! He's very cute calm doggie and he always makes me smile. I don't mind hearing him snore in the videos. It's actually cute and it's also nice to sort of know he takes care of you and James!
And I get motion sick so easily... To the point that I don't even want to try re-learning how to ride a bike, cause just the though of the speed makes me sick... So I very much appreciate when people keep motion sickness in mind!
Where I’m at in the US, sink and toilet only is either called a half bath or a powder room. Technically, it is also a restroom and a lavatory. Add a shower and it’s a 3/4 bath. Add a bathtub, either with or without a shower is a full bath. If it has all four without the shower and tub being one unit, and it’s a four-piece full bath.
Would love to see you renovate the other apartment in this building as well, the one intended for the Fengs. It has some,,,,interesting exterior wall placements that make it kinda tricky to work with

Thankyou so much for slowing it down. It’s so much easier on the eyes. I don’t have the motion sickness but it affects my eyes when too fast. I had epilepsy as a child and I still have trouble with flashing and bright lights.
I like it whenever you do your build realtime specialy when you have to start over and come up with a better floor plan and better style furnished. (Just binge watching almost all of your build videos)

Yet another brilliant build! Your on fire! You should slowly make your way around, renovating all the apartments in this world. And those that have townies living in it you have to do according to their ingame budget and their story when u select the family. That would be awesome.

I know I'm *very late* to the party (I'm watching this playlist a year late, lol), but to get around the doors not matching the apartments, I like to do a separate entryway.
So, the big brown door from the building will lead to an entryway with whatever entry stuff you need, and then you can use the door you prefer for the apartment itself.
I do this in pretty much all of my apartments, regardless of price and particularly those ones that had glass front doors, lol.
I suffer with vertigo aswell as motion sickness.. so I can actually watch this with less sickness! I've missed so many videos because it's too fast for me😅
So sorry for your loss, Deli! I actually always skip speed build videos because I get a weird headache while watching them. I have long covid, so that is probably why I can't handle it anymore. (also getting old lol) Anyway, this speed is perfect, I love it!

I turned this apartment (and the next door apartment) into 5 smaller apartments, a few of them with 2 bedrooms. I used T.O.O.L. mod to make doors through the lobby. It took me a lot of time, but it was so fun to build! I have to renovated them again, because I did those during the lock-out.

Gorgeous colors. I'm loving the rich, chocolatey browns too. Good layout for this apartment, it can be awkward to change any of the Sims 4 apartments. Love the butlers pantry. I want one in real life too.
20:16 I love that collection too but those shelves are so hard to fill lol. I’m not much for clutter so I add a few of the smaller books as bookshelves, the records she has as clutter and keep space to add collectibles my sims get in game. That way I don’t feel pressured to fill it all up.
Love the slower build for sure. I usually click off really fast speed builds because I can't keep up with what's going on. Also I'm so sorry for your loss. Sending lots of love!

JUST stumbling onto your channel and I can't stop watching! Already you have given me so many helpful tips for builds/renos even though I thought I was "pretty good" at it. There have been so many moments in my gameplay where I say "damn Deligracy you really opened my eyes to a GAME CHANGER!"

I love this speed. It allows you to relax and build just for a speed build, but it's slow enough that I can clearly see and enjoy your process. This is my favorite speed build ever now
I hate speed builds because I suffer from motion sickness a lot, I’m only 22 and I need to take a motion sickness pill to do some amusement park rides and reading in the car is now completely off the table for me (I’ve actually thrown up before from it) so you slowing down the speed is amazing and makes me actually able to watch and enjoy the build so thank you for making the only speed build video I can watch
I never watch speed builds because I find them too fast to follow but this speed I actually watched and enjoyed!
I love your videos and I love that you slowed the video speed down, when I watch videos that have speed builds I can only watch them for less than a minute because they give me a headache and hurt my eyes.
Speed builds are something I find relaxing to watch so I don’t mind the video being slower. Sometimes I don’t like longer CZcams videos if they feel like they’re rambling, but with speed builds, you know it’s part of the process and yeah I just find it relaxing to have on.

Thank you for slowing it down. I also get motion sick and I also find when the footage is super sped up the creator also talks really fast and it all seems hectic and stressed. This is super chill. I don’t mind watching a bit longer vid.

there is a sims replay!!, kind of like spotify but not as good, they only tell you how many times your sims died, woohoo’d, and something else I can’t remember but I looked at it on their website I think!!
in the philippines, we have what we call a "dirty kitchen" which is a secondary kitchen that is usually located on an undercover outdoor area close to the actual kitchen. the actual house kitchen is usually just for show so it won't get dirty. but usually we keep the microwaves and other appliances inside especially when the dirty kitchen is located outdoors so it will not be rained on. it's usually just the stove outside. having the dirty kitchen outdoors helps with smoke and smell 😊

They do have cordless hairdryers and curling irons. They run on butane, so you have to buy refills for them.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's very difficult to get back to regular life when you lose someone you loved dearly. I would hope everyone would be understanding of you needing time to grieve and pick yourself up a bit. You are human, not a machine. As for the build, I would love to actually be able to fully renovate them. It makes no sense that you can add/move walls and add windows but not change existing ones. Especially since they are so poorly placed and chosen. I renovated 3 apartments this weekend and it's such a pain. That apartment in Evergreen Harbour with the sliding door that you can't move or use is ridiculous.

I also agree with the super high speed build videos. I sometimes get motion sick pretty easily and depending on the build, sometimes I do get headaches/nauseous from them. I have to stop watching some creators even outside of the Sims community because their vlogging is too erratic and jerky. 😖

We use the "half bath" term in the US too. Although I've heard some people call a bath with a shower stall without a tub a 3/4 bath which I thought was odd. Half bath is pretty common for me though.

Omg, this apartment has captured my heart ♥️ I can’t believe it, in real life I hateeee the idea of apartments 😂( it’s the island girl in me) BUT the color scheme, the decor, yes even the weird long bathrooms. It’s beautiful and I caught myself changing the idea of what my dream house should look like in my head omg. If anyone could do it, it’s Deli really, shouldn’t be shocked 😂
