Amazing that they care so much about Embryos, yet child trafficking and child labor is higher than ever in this country and im sure Alabama has their illegal organizations like the rest of the states, but let's focus on the cells that make a human being and tell women what they can and cant do with their own bodies. That's the real threat.🙄 Let's not help the children already here, right? Alabama? 🤡
And I hope you politicians in Alabama are going to care for the Embryos after they are born? Like make sure they have clothes and food and set them up with a good education? Put them and their parents in a healthy living environment? Oh, that's right, you politicians don't care once the baby is born.

they've actually made that a law sadly. the logic was that a person can induce a miscarriage. supposedly you can just prove it wasnt on purpose. in practice and obvious reality it's an anti miscarriage law. i cant remember which state(s) have that though. im just happy to be californian right now.

Until 11 years ago, you could not change your legal sex in Sweden unless you were sterile, including swedish frozen eggs or sperm. You could store eggs/sperms/embryos in Denmark without subsidisation, but it's incredibly expensive and if you missed one payment you in practice became sterile for life. Point is, policing reproductive cells is GREAT, NO ISSUES, NO POSSIBLE BAD OUTCOMES

This is so incredibly classist. The only reason it’s Alabama and not California is because of poverty, gerrymandering (a majority of people living in Alabama are impoverished people of color), and lack of funding to public education. It’s not the people, it’s capitalism, it’s rich billionaires investing in the destruction of a state and the cheap labor of its citizens (Alabama has the lowest wages that does not adjust to the ever rising costs of living). Aside from all of that, this hearing does not just affect those wishing for children. This effects pregnant women because they losing access to healthcare as hospitals are completely shutting down their labor and delivery units because of multiple lawsuits that are being reintroduced due to the response of this hearing and healthcare workers who already make next to nothing will be laid off. I know that it’s funny to shit on southern states, but it’s important to remember that a majority of us did not choose to live here and can’t afford to leave.

I believe it won the Nobel, but I was shocked to realize that it had happened years before I heard about it, and how obscure the achievement is with people generally...

The "7 Mountain Mandate" is a concept associated with certain strands of Christian dominionism or dominion theology. It proposes that Christians should seek to exert influence and control over seven key sectors or "mountains" of society: religion, family, education, government, media, arts & entertainment, and business. Advocates of this mandate believe that by gaining control over these spheres, they can bring about societal transformation in line with their interpretation of biblical principles.
