Ah, it’s a good day when a Rollercoaster David video comes out!
Another excellent video. Nice reviews of the two new coasters, and a great overview of the park. I like that you didn’t overlook so many of the little touches that make the park unique. I loved Tripsdrill and would love to get back there.

Thanks! I know videos have been less frequent recently as I've had a few other things that have been taking up time.
Tripsdrill is such a wonderful unique park so I tried to balance the coaster stuff and weird stuff to give a good overview.

Yes thank you I'm not the only one. I really want a Stc with the SLC layout.
Imagine if they'd rebuild Condor, the first SLC with the new track and trains. It would give the Netherlands a really good invert. And if Xpress could be replaced with a modern vekoma launched, the park would have one of the best coaster lineups in Europe.

Nice video. This is my homepark. I rode "Hals über Kopf" 7 times when I was there on a not so busy day. So Yes, its very rerideable. I like it over Karacho, the Gerstlauer Infinity Coaster, because it rides smoother (both rides are not rough by any means). The theming for both coasters will be compleated for 2021. As with the entire Park, i belive thet it will be very nice. Trippsdrill always ads the theming the year after. Volldampf is themed to the german folk song "Auf der schwäbschn' Eisabahne". The Story rougthly is that a framer buys a ghoat at the market, and for the hometrip the Ghoat is knotted to the back of the train. At the end the farmer only finds the head of the ghoat.
    Greetings from Stuttgart

It's a wonderful park, probably the only one who would theme a ride around decapitating a goat!

Tripsdrill is probably the most beautiful park I have ever visited. Its just so beautiful and unique. Hals-Über-Kopf was a big surprise as I really enjoyed it and currently stands as my favourite Inverted Coaster. Its a much more open and enjoyable experience with a lot more variety than B&M Inverts. I am definitely looking forward to seeing how the area will look in 2021 when all the theming is done. Karacho is also a great coaster with a fun and solid layout. And also the name G'sengte Sau actually describes running as fast as a pig that is running away while it was being butchered. Its the things like that, that really Show how unique the place is :D

Google translate clearly has its limits! I think a coaster with the same name recently opened at Vienna prater though!

@@RollercoasterDavid It's actually named after car or sledge drivers who drive so fast and stupid like a pig who is about being sledged

The boomerang and the invert share the same support at some points, very interesting Vekoma. Can't recall another example of this

Cool, I never noticed whilst on the ground, maybe the planned one for tayto park will do the same. I suppose if your looking for a shared support example though, there's that intamin dueling dragons one in China!

I’m pretty sure Grona Lund has their Gerstlauer Wild Mouse and their Schwarzkopf Family Thrill Coaster have some parts where they use the same supports. I might be wrong but I think TMNT Shellraiser and Shredder do the same as well!

really wish some american parks that lack an invert consider getting one of these, namely places like silver dollar city. this seems really fun and i wish i could ride it

Great review of a great park! A hint about the pronounciations, if i may: "Hals über Kopf", the "Hals über" was very good, with "Kopf" you left out the P. Imagine a word like "drop" and then add an F, then it's better. Funny enough, you did a much better job with the "pf" during "Volldampf". However, the V is pronounced more forcefully, like in "full". So something like "Foll-dumpf". For the longest time, they did the same mistake on Sky Sports UK with Sebastian Vettel, making the V too soft, in German it's pronounced like an F. Anyway, good job again on the review.

I tried my best! Listened to a couple of videos on karacho to get it's ka-ra-ho pronunciation somewhat better! Krake is another one I was unsure if the pronunciation for a while, as there's several ways you could interpret it. Glad you liked the video! I was thinking of doing a fun video on the most difficult to pronounce coasters and parks! More fun mispronunciations are in my fraispertuis city and walygator park

@@RollercoasterDavid Hmm yeah there were a few other pronounciations that were a bit off, if i'm honest. I was just gonna focus on the two main ones, didn't wanna annoy you with a correction for every word. But apparently you are eager to improve, so i'll give you a couple more pointers as a German! :)
6:48 "Doppelter", you were probably thinking of "Doppler", but note that the E comes after the L. Also, the first syllable "DO" is emphasized, not the second one "el". But "Donnerbalken" was very good!
9:05 Karacho, good emphasis on the correct second syllable, but the "ch" is not just a "h". "ch" is a digraph, a pair of characters describing a certain sound, in this case, a voiceless fricative. Sorry for the complicated terminology, but i have to use those terms to accurately describe what i mean, you can look them up if you're interested. The end result is, this is difficult for a non-German to say, since i don't think the sounds exists in English. Thus i can't describe it well using just text. It's sort of like when you're gurgling something in your mouth with your head tilted back, but voiceless/nonvocal.
      Mammut: A+ there.
10:58 G'sengte Sau, very good effort. Slight mistake on the end of G'sengte, you end it like -tay, when it should be more like -tuh, meaning, a bit shorter and not emphasized.
The most difficult name for all Brits seems to be "Der Schwur des Kärnan". What ends up happening is that you pronounce Kärnan with switched vowels somehow, something like "car-nenn". This is opposite of the correct German translation, which is more like "care-nahn" (also note the slow second syllable).
If you want any pointers for future videos, you can reply here again in the future, and i'll be sure to answer!

I think rollercoasters allways have a maximum speed of wind until which they are allowed to operate, so don't worry about strong winds blowing you over the hill :')

I curious to see how the theming is going to be on Hals Uber Kopf because the name "head over heels" doesn't really sound like much of a theme.

From the concept art it looked like some sort of barn which the boomerang coaster crashes through the roof of.

The station will be a traditional south German restraunt and the theme is about a south German fary tail called "Die sieben Schwaben".

this is a family coaster setup doing extreme elements ... I think coaster manufacturers are making their rides too skinny these days. People submit their lives to these rides, I somehow don't think it's a good idea to make these rides more and more skinny and flimsy ...
Your entire life is hanging from this one 10cm diameter steel tube... think about it. Don't risk it!
