Kinda like a “Shoot ‘Em Up” mini game.
Fun Fact: Whispy doesn't actually mean any harm to Kirby. In the anime, he is seen as a nice and kind tree who gives apples to Kirby, only mean when tricked by Dedede. In Star Allies, he is influenced by the evil purple heart, and when you throw a heart after you defeat him, you get nice items in Whispy's sorrow for being so rude to you. He just wants to be kind in a world where gods come to destroy everyone on a daily basis. So, he tries to defend himself and accidentally judges Kirby as a foe on his first encounters.

Step 1: have suplex
Step 2: pin point kick until your all the way at the top of the screen
Step tree: there is none, wispy can't touch you and you've won already
