I think dalai lama himself already said no independence. For the sake of Tibetans in exile they should work for reconciliation. Bringing in American is the basically bringing in more trouble. Which country have they make it better?

USA is resurrecting the old Tibet card.
All other American cards such as Hong Kong, Xinjiang, SCS, Taiwan, chip, trade, tariff, sanction, etc. are all become old and ineffective. Many years now, China is not going down. So USA is resurrecting the old Tibet card.

China offers an alternative narrative of human progress. This is fundamentally different from the US narrative based on domination (through US Military) and plundering (through US Dollars). US needs to make a lot of noises, including using Dalai Lama, to distract the people of the world from realizing there is an alternative narrative of human progress.
US will continue make a lot of noises, including Dalai Lama, Uyghurs, Taiwan, HK, border conflict with Indian, and many more, to distract the people of the world to realize that alternative narrative of human progress.

The USA initially accepted the One China policy, recognizing Tibet and Taiwan as integral parts of China. However, nearly five years later, the USA has reversed its stance. This shift appears to be motivated either by a newfound concern for the Tibetan people or by an intention to create a new issue for India, possibly encouraging India to take charge of Tibet's freedom. The USA is observing the situation from afar, thousands of miles away.

    On the western front :
China can work together with Pakistan for the independence of the Khalistan and Kasmhir Movements.
    On the center front :
China collaborated with Nepal for the independence of Sikkim and Kalimpong with a gift to Nepal in the form of the Lhasa - Kathmandu railway.
    On the Eastern Front :
China is working with Myanmar for Manipur's independence. these two countries “Pakistan and Myanmar” are close Allies of China, how does that sound!?.
In the field of economic cooperation :
China collaborated with Russia to exclude India-Bharat from BRICS and was replaced by Pakistan, because India is very pro-United States and European Union. And blocking India from the SCO because India already has the QUAD alliance.
    In the OPEC organization :
China can work with Arab Muslim countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Iraq, Kuwait, Lybia and Algeria for an oil embargo because Modi is very anti-Islam and supports Israel.
In ASEAN, China can cooperate with Indonesia and Malaysia.

The Resolve Tibet Act of US "Rejects as 'inaccurate' China’s false claims that Tibet has been part of China since ancient times.” That is absolutely true.
"In 1842, a peace treaty was indeed concluded between the local authorities of China's Tibet and the Kashmir authorities". "As per the Chinese Government official's statement made in 1847 to the British representative that this section of the boundary was clear."
On the Eastern Sector, McMahon Line, frontier between Tibet and Assam in British India was negotiated between Tibet and Great Britain at the end of the Shimla Conference (1914). That means Tibet was independent entity for over hundred yrs with right to do international agreements at least from 1842 to 1949 when Communist China illegally occupied it.
The Resolve Tibet Act strengthens India's position Vis a Vis China.
It is clear that Aksai Chin boundary was well defined but Chinese changed their mind after Nehru unilaterally surrendered Tibet. China then cleverly incorporated Aksai Chin into Xinjiang to eliminate1842 treaty & Tibet's right on it. China has also reduced the original boundary of Tibet & incorporated its areas into mainland China.
India's Indo-Tibetan boundary lines have as much sanctity as Vladivostok, Sakhalin Islands which became part of Russia & Hong Kong which became part of Britain with well defined agreements during that period which China calls its Century of Shame.
After Modi's victory despite massive Western echo system against him, US has realized importance of India & need to concentrate on Tibet. However, India must be careful. The US & its 5-Eyes proteges have been promoting Khalistani terrorists jeopardizing security of India .
India should treat US as Frenemy country keeping good relations with Russia. India must extract full advantage to eliminate western interference in Manipur & in internal affairs of India. Bangladeshi PM Sheikh Hasina has warned about Western attempts to create a new Christian country in India's eastern neighborhood...
