Founded 5 years ago, Field Cycles are based in Sheffield, the home of steel, making handmade and bespoke bicycle frames out of steel. This short film presents their work, their ethos and passion for the bicycle.
The craft, ideas, methods, bikes, everything about this video is top notch. Love this kind of craftsmanship

Couldn't agree more James. I think the same goes for everything mass produced product these days. More and more people are wanting high quality products that are built to last.

This is a fantastic video. I saw it after the decision to order a bike and it just underscores the fact I think I've made a good decision. I can't wait to start the process. it will be an honor to ride a Field bike. Not so much the 'mass" manufactured stuff.

I talked to Tom Ritchey for about a half hour recently. He is the coolest. I asked him about why he makes steel frames? He just looked at me and said
“People don’t understand steel.”
