2 other quick things that I found useful with the scanstrut that I didn't mention in the video are that if you need your phone for primary or secondary navigation then it is right there mounted in front of you and won't run out of power and it is also mounted right next to the bluetooth stereo hub for an easy connection and quick ability to adjust your tunes.

Loose on the right of the dash? Yah that was just so you could clearly see the scanstrut unit without anything in it for a bit.

I love the idea of not using wires but not sure about having enough spare battery capacity to waste energy on such inefficient charging. But phone mounts very sensible.

Does this boat have the ability to have some type of an enclosure around the center controls? Did it have a canopy?
The structure came with a plastic windshield and a canvas canopy which were awesome and I dont know if you could get an enclosure directly from highfield but it is definitely possible have one made by a good canvas shop.

YEah no chance at all. We took the Rib out in some pretty rough stuff and no movement whatsoever.
