"More" honestly sounds like the korean word "물" or "Mul/Mur" which means "Water". And with that, he starts by saying "Yeah Im thirsty" then "On this beat, Im surfin'" and then the direct korean translation of the line "Im on my element" is basically "The fish meets the water" which is ohmaghad a really great metaphor of being in one's element (which is music, dancing, and rapping for jhope), and lastly "Soak up the music". So it is really playing around with bars relating or connecting to both music and water. Honestly, #1 rule in understanding kpop lyrics, is never trust the english translation. Learning Korean truly pays off and gets you to another level of understanding genius BTS' Korean rap lyrics and Korean song lyrics.
Thanks! I know in the spilled coffee scene the English lyrics read, "I feel alive", but I'm hearing the word 'saranghae', the word for love? Can you give the correct translation? TY
@@KimmyGibson He said "Sara sum swineun geo gata" (살아 숨 쉬는 거 같아). Sara (살아) in this context means alive. Love is sarang (사랑). (RM actually talked about the similarity of these words in his song Trivia: Love as well as in a VLive!)
"Sa" means death, and "rang" means together. Saranghae (사랑해) adds "hae" which means "do" (in informal speech). So saranghae comes from "die together" (i.e., live together until death) and means "__ love/loves __" (e.g. I love you).
There's no subject specified in J-Hope's line, so the full line could be translated as either "I feel alive" or "It feels alive" (his work? his ambition?). It's open to interpretation.

People keep saying this is closer to 80s rap, numetal or pop punk but I honestly think it's more trip hop. It's very portishead, sneaker pimps, tricky or massive attack.
It makes more sense if you know J-HOPE wrote Dionysus and Dis-ease, which are guitar-heavy and rock. I'm saying he always had it, but he was "in a box" and can't fully explore his rap metal side. That genre is very difficult to pull off with very few bands who got it right.
