My grandfather was, too. He did a lot more engraving, though. It's so cool to see some of these pieces that look straight out of his workshop.
Is the gameplay close to your real silversmith profession?
It really compliments the more collectibles based packs, which happens to be Realm of Magic, Werewolves, and Paranormal. The 4 of them can make a nice fully fledged house or apartment, maybe throw in vampires for more vintage stuff and the cabinet set.
the stuff in this pack is such a vibe. that cream swatch of the wallpaper, i am immediately thinking spellcaster nursery!

The bookshelves would be really good for a town library or maybe a librarian’s home. Maybe you could use it in the townhome apartments too

That mirror looks like it would fit in on a spellcaster's wall, tbh. Same with the rug and wallpaper. I feel ike this new pack could pair nicely with the Vampires game pack, the Paranormal Stuff pack, and the Realm of Magic game pack. Not so much the Werewolves pack tho, as the items in that pack tend to be on the more beat up side whereas the items in this new pack look fairly nice. Plus the jewelry box is def a must for more girly Sims, not to mention it would pair nicely with that jewelry stand we got with Everyday Clutter. I'm definitely getting this pack.
my father in law is a goldsmith and apart from a workshop he also has a desk setup at home and this reminds me of it so much!!
this is a really cool mechanic to be able to make jewelry and its neat that they included the mythology into it

With the unfathomable plant, you reminded me of Megamind where he struggles to say "unfathomable" and ends up giving up and saying "without fathom" instead!
No matter how many times I try, I always have to try a couple times with the words "agglomerates" and "infinitesimally"...both words I unfortunately have to say a lot in my current job

-I love the wallpaper! Especially in the swatch you used, it's very Ravenclaw to me!
-When I saw the crystal handles on the console table, I thought of the Strangerville doors. The Crystal Creations furniture has a sort of similar fanciness to the Strangerville doors and fencing!
-That ferrrrrn! Ohhhh my gosh! I love the texture and the shape and detail on the leaves! You go, Sims Team! That's goooood!
-I have a jigsaw that's almost identical to the third swatch (the blue one) of the crystal poster! Hahaha
I went to a jewellery making class for my Mum's birthday in December, and we used a lot of the tools on the desk, wall rack, and field kit. Like the texturing hammer, the rotary tool, files, and sander! Like pretty much every thing in the workshop I was like "Ooh what's this? What does that do? What do you use this for?" Haha! Luckily the silversmith running the class didn't seem to mind my questions, and she was patient and kind and explained and demonstrated everything. She helped me move the hanging motor for the rotary tool (the thing hanging on the desk) to the other side since I'm left handed, n the cable would be in the way otherwise! And she let me have a go with the big sander! Yesss! It was so fun lol! My Dad never lets me use the big power tools in his garage hahaha

I am in love with these items! So pretty! I love the lamp way too much - it gives an astronomer feel. I'd love to see an astronomer build!

I'm really excited for the release of this stuff pack, I genuinely thought it was gonna be fairies lol, stupid me. Regardless of still wanting fairies, I still think this pack is cool. This pack looks like it could go very nicely with the Real of Magic Game Pack.
Fairies should be a gamepack, not a stuff-pack. They'd probably be worse than aliens or mermaids that way!
This and Realm of Magic will be interesting.
That lighted arch shelf might also be cool to play around with on the exterior of builds!

I loooooove that loveseat!!! We have needed a "regular" loveseat in game for soooo long! All of the recent couches that are traditional looking have been the large 3-seaters.
The white skirting boards tho... why? WHY? 😭 I mean, clearly everyone is going to use these wallpapers with dark or wood flooring, so why would they do this to us? 😭😭😭

I had a glass top coffee table growing up I ended up with a sprained ankle after it broke my dad decided to sit on it and the glass couldn't take his weight and so the table broke and my right or left ankle just happen to be there

I think it's really pretty and I do plan on buying it. However, I find it really disrespectful and annoying that EA makes separate packs for the same "concept". This should've been included with realm of magic in my opinion. Shoot, they could've combined all of the paranormal packs into one big pack. They need to do better.
they also could've put all of the animal/farm related packs into another big pack. (my first pet stuff infuriates me. it should've been included with Cats and Dogs AT LEAST)
Wish my game would load so I could buy this. Such a shame.

i like the contents but feel we dont get enough for our moneys worth. i feel like this couldve been a kit. but just my personal opinion.
