    Just discovered this video. Have been a Eureka golfer for 2 years now and been a few times to Peebles for coaching. This is a very efficient way of playing and I would advocate this swing system to anyone. Steve is very clever about what he releases in the public CZcams domain and what he keeps back for paid subscribers. I don’t think you would appreciate and/or understand it fully unless you buy into it properly. Well worth it btw!

    I just come across Eureka golf swing today on TikTok. I have been swinging like this for 2 years now. I'm LH, the miss is a PULL right If you swing inside. It's a good swing for heavier (fatter) golfers like me who can't turn my hips quick being open helps the follow through. It's a good swing.

    Been doing it for months now bought the system.
    Went down for a lesson to get advice first hand
    It’s been unbelievable for me and well worth doing
    Makes the swing so easy and repeatable.
    Play off 5 and this will def help me get to scratch as very repeatable
    The putting has been working great too

      I am from Scotland and live 4hrs away from Steve but well worth the trip .
      I am no expert but try widening your stance and more weight on left side in downswing for irons
      More even weight for driver
      Well worth buying the programme
      Another thing to look at to improve your golf is The Gem
      Another Scottish inventor
      You will find it on Steve’s channel also game changer

    It's a great golf swing, easy on the body and stress free, once you master the concept of 60% weight on the left side, and proper backswing and turning the shoulders on the correct plane, it works without a lot of instruction, buy the iron series or the whole package, you will be glad you did as when you watch all of the other golf instructors on You Tube, too many moves to make.

    I worked with Eureka a couple of years ago, I still chip and pitch in a very similar manner. I found I over drew and having to start aligning more square, great principles though and worth messing about with. I think this kind of open stance and simple plane swing was probably how the original golf inventors played 😄......(update)...i started rewatching the videos, I've started practicing more precisely with Steve's teaching and now Im hitting much straighter.

      I've recently discovered this and took it to the range a few months ago. I've been golfing this way most of the summer and it's produced some of my best iron play ever. Definitely my best ball striking/compression. For me it's the same issue. I am overdrawing the ball. Even well struck shots are moving left after flying straight. What are you doing to straighten out?? Opening the face at address? Grip?

    • @nepheshr290
      @nepheshr290 Před 10 měsíci +2

      @@JohnnyLREACTS i focus more on my left hand at impact and think fade, but as long as my feet keep going left the ball will go straight. I think just getting used to the feel with pitch shots then move to longer shots. IDK though

    The only key component I didn't hear you mention in the setup was sliding 60% of your weight into your lead foot (and trying to keep this pretty consistent throughout the swing). Steve does this in conjunction with opening the face/sliding the handle forward

  • @user_1664

    As youve set up there i would ne getting a fade ,quite big fade , or a pull as my mind ‘saves’ the shot .

  • @jtboise1

    This swing method has improved my game immensely. Through experimentation, I flare my lead foot a little more than Steve suggests and I turn my hips toward target a little at set up. It clears my lead hip so I don't really have to worry about turning the lower body (always has been a problem for me) and I just naturally end up on my front foot. And I don't need a big body turn on the backswing. If you think about throwing a ball or skipping a stone on a lake, your lead foot is aways pointed toward the target. I think the traditional golf swing is unnatural and I think it's a recipe for injuries, especially at my age - 70. Flaring my lead foot takes all the stress off my back. I love this swing with my adaptations. I don't manipulate the club face like you do here but I still hit it straight. But it's not a magical cure for other faults. You must still keep the lead arm straight and maintain the lag through the swing. It's a great swing method. However, I couldn't get it to work with my driver. No problem though because I've finally figured out how to hit my driver straight just about every time. I can't explain why it works. I just stumbled on the swing one day at the range and found it was easily repeated.

    • @arizonaboy59
      @arizonaboy59 Před 8 měsíci +1

      So how do u hit your driver? Reg or closed stance. Do u stack n tilt? Etc

    • @jtboise1
      @jtboise1 Před 8 měsíci +1

      Actually, I use a reg. stance, but now, I choke down about 4 inches on my driver and a little less on my other long clubs. Then, using this swing thought I just let it rip. BUT KEEPING MY LEAD ARM STRAIGHT AT ALL TIMES. Played yesterday and when I did this, I crushed my driver and 5 & 6 irons. Shortening the club by choking down is so amazing. I feel so free to just swing the damn club without a lot of thought or anxiety. BUT...KEEP THE LEAD ARM STRAIGHT. I'm 71 and I hit my driver down the middle every time yesterday with my longest drive at 220 yards. That's what I could do with choking down 4 inches. Try it and let me know how it goes. Lots of videos about cutting your driver down, but why do that when all you have to do is choke down (easier to re-sell your clubs later). Good luck.@@arizonaboy59

    I tried eureka and it worked great with 7 - PW but I had trouble with 6 - Driver. It did check my tendency to go over top. Its wierd but simple. The challenge is where to place ball in set up for each club. I sometimes chunked it with 8 and topped it with a fairway wood/driver. Need help.

    Steve doesn't open the face to the path and then take the grip. Grip is pre established with his being neutral. The club faces out towards the center line target. The outer cane is simply for path.

      @GolfQuestChannel no worries. His face maybe a little open but not twisting open. Just don't want you over hooking it. Jim venetos does prescribe the grip this way in the sense that you take your preset pivot and then grip the club. From what I see is most nail their wedges and short irons with the strong grip but block the driver or duck hook. I like your swing though!
