Thanks Pan the Organizer!!
MWC is definitely one of the best spray one and rinse off wheel cleaners out there that actually works.
Yes it's pretty good! Especially on brake dust.
I thought you weren't supposed to use anything with iron remover on ceramic breaks?....
@@jerryguillaume6435 They look like steel discs to me?
There would be no (or very little) metallic decontamination if they were ceramic and thus you would not see the colour change as the Mwc reacts with the iron particulates
Those are not the wheels of my 911 Turbo S!! HAHA. It was just a Porsche Cayenne that I had for a day while my 911 was receiving it's yearly maintenance.
This is my go-to when life gets in the way and my car is extra dirty. Its also extremely effective at removing dirt, and is the closest thing you will get to touchless cleaning (at least when used on coated wheels). If I'm in a hurry I will spray this on a cool dry wheel, let it soak, pressure wash off and then follow up with rinseless after I've rinseless washed my car.

What would you recommend to cleaning the actual tire. I always get the wheels clean but the tires still have like a brown or dusty look after the wash.

Hey Pan mwc is it only for the wheels or can be used on the rest vehicle as an iron remover??? Thanks 😊
Painted alloy wheels, high-quality chromed wheels, steel rims
Probably my favorite wheel cleaner, just ran out though so I'm using break buster.
Both are great choices
@Pan The Organizer yes they are,I just happen to like the iron remover in the mwc,it keeps me from having to use 2 products. Cheers from Delaware.
Cheers from Montreal! Hope you'll have a great weekend Greg.
Does it strip off any wax or cause any issues with ceramic coated rims?
Most wheel cleaners will strip regular carnauba waxes, yes. A wax won't last that long on a wheel anyways, it's way too harsh of an environment for that. Normally, you apply ceramic based protection on wheels, as shown in my wheels off detailing tutorial here: czcams.com/video/3LCQ0g589pM/video.html
And ceramic protection can resist wheel cleaners, no problem.
That product is incredible. Thank you!
Have you tested it?
@Pan The Organizer
Not yet, but I follow your recommendations based on your product demonstrations.
Cool. Also, all my top products recommendations are in my annual awards video: czcams.com/video/gRwsznwfTwE/video.html
@Pan The Organizer
Yes, your annual recommendations are always fantastic and worth the money.
Thank you for the amount of time and effort involved in the creation of the list.
Thanks for the trust you place in my opinion Bismark! What's your favourite video on my channel, so far, by the way?
It leaves kind of white-ish stains on the break discs, does it go off after time?
Would this be used before or after you've already done a first step? Ie. after you've done the initial cleaning where you have started cleaning the tire first then the wheel face.
I would normally pre-rinse, then spray this and let it dwell, then in a bucket have my microfiber wheel mit and brushes, with soapy water, and start cleaning the wheels and tires.
See my full wheel and tire cleaning tutorial here: czcams.com/video/omwcNcSYcS8/video.html
Very cool 😎
Thanks Corey
Great episode as usual. 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Thanks!
Pan The organizer can you do please the best iron removers test I don't know if you have done it.Thanks Pan the organizer!!!
The best iron remover is CarPro IronX. And then Gyeon Iron. All my favourite products are in my popular annual car detailing products awards video here: czcams.com/video/gRwsznwfTwE/video.html
Do you have to just rinse off or can you scrub as well ?
You should always follow up with agitation with wash mit and brushes. See my full wheels and tires cleaning tutorial: czcams.com/video/omwcNcSYcS8/video.html
Should you use it as is or dilute it?
You do not dilute this.
Pan, I'm having a hard time finding a sprayer that can spray a large area of thicker chemicals, like a iron decontaminant. Do you suggest me any?
Yes absolutely. Here: amzn.to/3OSUyPp
And an even bigger version here: amzn.to/43iZp0Y
Best pump sprayers on the market. Those versions are for non-foaming chemicals, like iron removers.
If you want something that can foam, with snow foams, shampoos, or APCs, then I would recommend one of these:
amzn.to/42tDPWo
bit.ly/3qecmdB
Hi Pan, have you tried Koch Chemie Fcl? It’s their acid based wheel cleaner. Would something like be safe to use on gloss black wheels?(of course not using on a hot surface, not letting it dry, and working out of direct sunlight)
I haven’t tested that yet.
Is this safe to use on ceramic coated wheels as well?
Yes absolutely.
Hey Pan, which iron removers you have tried that has the least offensive smell but is effective?
The TGA actives give pretty much all iron removers that rotten egg smell. It's almost inevitable unfortunately. But there are a few that seem to mask that odor pretty good. These:

@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks a bunch. I will try one of them soon...
Hey Pan, love your channel! How do you get rid of rust spots on the brakes? I've got a new car that's only 3 months old and just noticed rust spots developing. On the front brakes in particular.
On the rotors?
@@PanTheOrganizer Sorry Pan, yes. On the rotors.
I just bought some from my local detail supply store and I haven't used it yet but when I'm still gonna use a brush with it like i would any wheel and tire cleaner

Looks pretty good and effective, have to try mwc, how would you compare it to rapid decon or Iron x ?
I would compare it expensive
There are many good wheel cleaners with iron removers for sure. IronX is just an iron remover though, not a wheel cleaner. The TW Rapid Decon & Iron Remover is another very good wheel cleaner. It's $15 USD for 23 oz, versus $21 USD for 17 oz for the Koch Chemie. So the Turtle Wax is almost half the price per ounce, so is a better value.
@@PanTheOrganizer thanks for sharing you precious knowledge 👌
I still use Hybrid Solutions and I'm very happy with it.
@@PanTheOrganizer Yup turtle wax has been going crazy lately.
Pan I keep getting rusty discs after using this product, what am I doing wrong?
When you wash a car that has normal steel rotors, it's normal to get surface rust (called "flash rust"). It quickly goes away when you first brake afterwards.
But if you want to prevent this from happening, you can use one of two methods:
1) After the final rinse, drive up and down the driveway a few times while applying the brakes lightly. This will dry the rotors. Then dry the rest of the car as per usual.
2) After the final rinse, spray some Hyde's Serum Rustopper directly on the rotors, and then dry the rest of the car as per usual. That spray will prevent the surface rust from happening. Here's a link to it: amzn.to/3SKROW6

Hi pan ! What is the difference between Mwc and Fb ?
I haven't used Fb, but by reading the description, is seems that it adds a water-repelling effect and has gloss additives.
MWC is just a wheel cleaner, with iron removing capabilities.
Is this a spray and rinse product Pan?
It’s a wheel cleaner like any other wheel cleaner. Use it as you normally would.
❤❤❤
Nice
👍🏻
I have aftermarket aluminum wheels-P and S left a white residue on my wheels…. Do you have any suggestions as to what wheel cleaner I can use that will be safe but effective? I hate hearing..just use soap, but that might be my only answer?
Aftermarket wheels are always a bit more delicate. This wheel cleaner works wonders on those: amzn.to/3NybSYZ
Dilute it according to level of dirt (instructions on the label) and use it in a foaming pump sprayer.
@@PanTheOrganizer thank you!
Pan. Have you tried Jax Wax product?
No
Damn that worked well.
Is it safe for all wheels?
My owners handbook says not to use any wheel cleaners, other than the wash solution you use on the paint.
Is this true?
What car do you drive? Would give a better idea as to what finish is on your wheels.
@@TheRyanmanVideos CT200h F sport.
The wheels are a dark smoke grey colour. I assume powder coated.
@Ryan Hepler Thanks for the reply btw.
Just got me puzzled as to the reason why Lexus suggests not to use any cleaning solutions like this.
NOT SAFE it is a acid wheel cleaner.typically avoid if you have fancy wheels like urs
Koch Chemie says it’s safe on painted, chrome and steel wheels. Assuming they are OEM finishes.
How does this compare to P&S Brake Buster?
Very similar in terms of overall cleaning performance. But the Mwc does better on iron particles, but Brake Buster can also be used to clean tires, the Mwc isn’t meant to clean tires.
Would you know the name of that sprayer on that bottle to buy separate. Looking for quality sprayers thank you
I don’t. But I made a video for the best spray bottles and sprayers here: czcams.com/video/d4YY84rIry0/video.html
@@PanTheOrganizer thank you sir 👍
👍🏻
Does this stuff work well on baked on brake dust where generally an acid based wheel cleaner would be required?
no
If you have really baked on brake dust, an acid wheel cleaner like Meguiar’s Wheel Brightener will do a better job.
@@PanTheOrganizer thanks for the reply! Got a Mercedes GLC with the 20 inch multi spoke wheels that haven’t been maintained very well, fallout remover barely touched it so thought I may give MWC a go but might have to break out the acid
Once you are done doing the deep clean, I highly recommend applying a ceramic coating on the wheels, it will greatly help repel brake dust or at least make cleaning the wheels much easier in the future. German vehicles have high performance brakes that generate lots of brake dust. If left unattended, that brake dust is corrosive and can start etching through the clear coat and cause permanent damage.
Here's my wheels off cleaning and coating tutorial: czcams.com/video/3LCQ0g589pM/video.html
And if you don't want to remove your wheels to apply a full blown coating, the minimum is to clean the wheels and at the end, apply a spray on rinse off sealant that will give you 1-3 months of protection. See my wheel cleaning tutorial here: czcams.com/video/omwcNcSYcS8/video.html
@@PanTheOrganizer sadly the wheels are in a poor enough state that I think they are beyond cleaning, might just get them refurbished then coat them, second hand vehicle, never know how it’s been looked after unfortunately
Wheal cleaning regimine...
?😊
Here’s my wheel cleaning regimen: czcams.com/video/omwcNcSYcS8/video.html
tried using the turtle wax wheel and tire cleaner and it did not work... still had brake dust left
Sometimes when you have really caked on brake dust, all that will work is an acid based wheel cleaner like Meguiar’s Wheel Brightener. Looks like you have an extreme case of iron contamination.
Also, once your wheels are decontaminated and full clean, I highly recommend that you apply a wheel coating to make cleaning much easier in the future.
See my wheel coating tutorial: czcams.com/video/rFIhy4ldQUg/video.htmlsi=HsfX1oJW5F9w5MDl
so how does this compare/work with P&S Brake Buster? I'm looking for some help for my G80 M3 prolific brake dust.
The KCx is just for wheels, and has iron removing capabilities. It's super good for that task of cleaning wheels. Brake Buster can be used both on wheels and tires, but doesn't have the same iron removing capabilities, but is more versatile. Overall I prefer Brake Buster as it's one product that does both wheels and tires, and is less expensive so is a better value.
I tried both and I have an M2 Competition. MWC cleans brake dust about 10x better than Brake Buster. Don't waste your time with Brake Buster with dusty brakes IMO.
@@chrisbradley3224 this is good to know. Thanks. I will check it out
@@chitterlingsrtasty MWC is prob the best iron removing wheel cleaner I've tried. A close second is Armour Detail Supply and then Turtle Wax Rapid Decon. The TW is good because it's far less expensive and 85% as good as MWC.
Hi Pan is it ok to use a fall out remover on gloss black wheels
You can, just make sure it doesn't dry on as it can stain, maybe work in smaller sections if you need to
@@3091mg thanks so much
Bless ya
@@ianapriliatuono if you do half the wheel, agitate with a brush then rinse, then do other half you shouldn’t have any issues tbh
Yes of course. Gloss black wheels have a clear coat, like any other OEM wheel finish. The brake dust is embedded in that clear coat (just like in your paint). So you can use wheels cleaners and iron removers on glass black wheels too.
Just work in the shade, and on a cool surface. Never in the hot sun.
@@PanTheOrganizer
Fantastic thank you all the way from Northern Ireland
Is this safe for black powder-coated wheels?
Koch Chemie doesn't mention that. They say it's safe on "Painted alloy wheels, high-quality chromed wheels, steel rims".
You would have to contact them to find out.
@PanTheOrganizer Thanks for responding. I enjoy your channel. Just purchased the Griots Boss Cannon after your review.
I feel like u should shoot it again to see if theres any left
Still working with the loaner Porsche, I see. Hopefully they didn't take too long with your 911.
Haha no it was only for the day, its yearly maintenance and wheel/tire change from winter to summer setup.
Instead of wasting my time at the dealership waiting, I thought I’d grab a loaner and go home to film a few quick videos. I can’t stop being productive with my time.
What if you have black wheels , can you see the purple
You’ll see it on the ground.
Amazing product but expensive boy
For less expensive alternatives, see my wheel & tire cleaners battle video: czcams.com/video/jfYZh1qB1LY/video.html
PO alone would do that, isn’t that bad
?
Kinda pricey but it works
Yes it's a very good product.
Hoooooyahhh
20 dollar right there
😂😂
Can more than attest, they do not put the word magic in the name for nothing
It's a very good wheel cleaner indeed.
I love this product, but it smells SO BAD
Because of the active ingredient of iron removers (TGA) that rotten egg smell is almost inevitable. But it’s a very good wheel cleaner.
This is why I switched to ceramic pads and never looked back
Ceramic pads still have metal in them, still create dust (just less of it and of a lighter color) and if your brake discs are still steel...you still need an iron removing wheel cleaner periodically.
@@jeffc6832 yeah I definitely have to wash them still, but like you said, it’s much less and so light that it’s hard to notice. Still get plenty tar spots too
No contact clean needed? 🤔
Of course. Hence why I said we need to follow up with the rest of the cleaning. The only way to get 100% clean is always to follow up with brushes and mitts.
Looks like it works well...no surprise on this fine channel. Haha, time to pick some up! There goes the credit card bill! LOL!
Hehe! Tell your wife your purchases all are Pan approved. ;)
@@PanTheOrganizer No, Wife! I'm single :)
