Big thanks to Rodney for bringing his Grandpa's bike to us, we're excited to get it back up and running!
Thank you guys so much for working on gramps bike, her name is the red queen, and the army men is a memory of gramps passing out the army men on his rides and I stuck with it. I really appreciate y'all.
Would you be willing to sell the screamin eagle heads
Wow! Really looking forward to the Gramps build. Yes it's an older bike, I have a 2003 Lowrider and Love my bike. I love the older builds to bring them back to life so to speak. Love Harley but the pricing is way too much for me. Peace ✌ and Love ❤ all.
@ratanker8284 what part or missouri is the bike from
Walk through with Chris is so straight forward. This is the content that draws people in. Real builds with real people and no drama. Blockhead rocks!
should have titled the vid " . . for Grandad". I almost missed this
Holy crap!!!! I must be old. To call a Twin Cam old!?!? Holy crap!!! I am old. I've had my 1987 FLST - Special since day one. Never feels old. Puts a smile on my face every time I throw a leg over it.
This is the content I love. A good build series featuring Chris' expertise and narration. Awesome sauce
As an Old School Biker(61)....Other than Popping in a Crate Engine...I would have kept everything the same minus Navel Jelly the Chrome and Polishing out the Paint....
Ditto!!!!!
I cut & buffed the factory black cherry paint on the '06 RG I recently got. The transformation was incredible, looks like a different bike now!
This should be an interesting series! Looking forward to the episodes surrounding this build!
Cool to see this new build, as I just got a 2006 RG from a close friend that bought a new RG last year. It has the S&S T111 small block with a 585 cam> Pulls pretty good for a large barge!
It's a twin cam., that's not old.
I love the story and I’m looking forward to seeing the outcome of this build! 🔥
This is really awesome what y'all are going to do for his grandfather. God bless y'all
This dude's grandad is my Dad to a T. Red and Chrome, Hated blacked out bikes. I inherited his 2019 Road King, and now it's a tribute.
This is the content I really enjoy and the reason I watch your channel. Chris in front of the camera taking us through what he is seeing in his head and being able to pick up little bits of knowledge from his expertise is really great stuff!
looking forward to this great build & the outcome of Rodney Grandpa's bike come back to life
It's going to be a whole new bike, basically. I hope Grandpa had a lot of $$$ saved up.
I don't see the sence in it, but hey, it'll be a fun build to watch.
it's good to see the man back in charge again !! KEEP IT UP CHRIS !!!!
love to see ya'll doing a small tire bagger!! For those of us that own one its going to be cool to see all what ya'll are going to use on this bike. I own a 07 Electra Glide myself
You guys are just awesome.. fulfiilling a dead man's dream so his grandson can enjoy the bike.. ❤..
I just knew Chris would get the bike running.. Cos he's cool like that..
Much love guys.. keep twisting those wrists..
Looking forward to this one. Such a cool story with a grandson finishing a bike for his grandpa. Hope somebody ends up riding it. Gonna be a sweet ride.
really looking forward to this series!!! excitement flying through the roof!!!
27 years master level technician doing good with the camera! Keep going! kkkkkkkkkkkkk
An incredible story! I'd love to see it after the full restoration ❤
This is going to be a cool resurrection build.
Looking forward to seeing how it all goes.
I love reviving these old bikes. This is gonna be awesome
One of the most interesting videos in a while. Love the channel but this is more of a obtainable video for me. Love it can’t wait for the next episode. 👍🏻
Having an 09 road king full stage 1, asked last video for more content on older bikes, prayers answered. Thanks guys I’m so looking forward to this build
Can’t wait to see what kind of numbers the 124” pulls at the dynocologyst. I have two 88 twin cams that I want to beef up
Can’t wait to see more. I have this same bike. Little 88 runs solid, but know I am going to want to upgrade eventually. Can’t wait to see what y’all do.
100% on the older bikes. I bought a 99 night train for my brother in law. After getting it home. I noticed the rear shock was connected via Bluetooth. Ended up pulling the swing arm and drilling the broken bolt out. Felt bad for missing it when I was buying it.
Can't wait to see what you do with this. I have an '04 Ultra that I am beginning to put together a list for a complete rebuild. Was considering a 124 but so much other stuff goes into making it work.
You guy’s don’t really like working on older Harleys but you’re channel name is Blockhead? That’s funny!
Can't wait to see the update on this build!!
Badass that hes doing this for his gramps, much respect
Maybe it's the story behind the bike, but I'm super excited to see this build or at least how it turns out, depending on how yall record it
Cool opportunity to build something out of your norm. Brings Orange County Choppers memories to mind haha
Lyndall rotors and wheels. 😎🏍️👍🏻 and 6 piston brakes from Beringer. Just a thought 😉
BIG project for you guys. Looking forward to the series.
I like the Chris tips video method.
I'd also like to see what a ballpark build like this costs because it seems spicy.
A lot of work to do however Chris makes it look easy, looking forward to the transformation
Great series looking forward to following it
Can't wait to see it finished
I can’t wait to see how this turns out. I am intending to acquire a 98 Electra glide ultra classic and I would love to black it out as I upgrade it.
I don’t have relatives that have enough money to buy one of these let alone will me one. I’m glad somebody’s relative was able to do this.
I just realized I think you all are in the old electrical shop I use to work at years ago. The brewery C28 down the street is great.
Edit* you’re actually across from it 😅
Lookin forward to watching you guys continue on this bike. I'm from California luv ur style...
I think this is going to be a great series. I look forward to watching the progress. Yes, I do enjoy the TC content more than the newer stuff because I ride a TC. Keep it comin!!!
As a jet mechanic in the Air Force, I've tagged so many fighter jets with Blockhead stickers..lol
Love the Blink-182 shirt Chris!!!! Love all you guys I’ll be bringing my bike for a build hopefully soon!
this sounds like a great project. can't wait to see what yall come up with. again if I had the money I would love to get the big bore and 6 speed for my vrod and have yall tune it.
There is no greater honor than building a bike as a tribute for a loved one.
We need updates on Rodney’s gramps bike
That transition at the 5:04 would've been great had not youtube ruined it with a commercial.
Right on, looking forward to this series 👊
Cool build going forward Chris
Awesome stuff guys! You guys got this!
Army men ! Contact someone who does tabletop gaming stuff and a make diorama inside one of the baglids.
Awesome video! Great story!
It seems the only thing left is the purple skull. 😅
The Green Army men made me tear up.. I carry one around at all times to remember that freedom isn't free and we have people deployed around the world.. He must have carried a bunch around to give to others as a reminder as well.. I do that all the time..
As much as I hate to see a nice old bagger destroyed, I'm looking forward to seeing a new bike.
A revival, I like it !!!
GUYS!!! all the facetime and chit chat. and the yappin! WHY?! GET TO WRENCHING PLEASE OH MY GAWD!!!
Love seeing a sns 124 twin cam...Chris, maybe a RB racing lsr pro stock 2 into 1 pipe?. Or DND...OK DND b cool
I'm excited for this build!
This is gonna be a cool build for grandpa
Cant wait to see what they do to it
Wow such a new bike. Want to work on my 1988 lol
I'll take the wheels!
Just adding a comment for the algorithm
I'm looking forward to this series. I wouldn't want to see the bill.
I’m stoked on this guys
100% great job
Hey guys, I'm looking at throwing a bigger wheel on the front of my '16 Softail Slim. It's just too rubber-heavy up front there...
I'm hoping this isn't an ignorant question, but I can't seem to find any kind of guideline regarding mismatched wheel sizes. I'm on 16"s but was thinking 19" or 21" for the front, but Chris mentioned in the video that he was gonna throw an 18" on the rear? Is that like a recommended thing?
Hey a week b4 Christmas. I bought my 1st bagger. A 2019 indian chieftain. It has the 116 bbk + $5,000 in other mods from the old owner. Im in the process of getting it painted. White or orange??? Which one??? Btw im only 30 years old. They say younger people hate baggers. I think there the best looking bikes.
It should be an 88 c.i if it is a 2006, but he never did say the milage, to be that sick and running on one cylinder.
Shit, i didn't know you're in Orlando. I'm 30 minutes from y'all.
My new bike is a 1999 evo softail it took awhile to learn about it. I prefer shovelheads own two of them know every nut and bolt on them by heart sounds like you guys like to work on the new stuff because it is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy easier just remove and bolt new stuff rich kids with lots of money
Does the sns 124 have a stroker crank in it and is it trued with a 0 runout???
You guys would LOVE working on my '98 FLHTCUI Anniversary model. One word: Magneti Marelli.
🤢🤮
😂
Cool
WILL THERE BE ANYTHING LEFT THATS NOT TRASH ????
Just now noticed what happened to Pretty Vinnie?
Im looking for you guys to do something other than beat your gums.
I coulda had it running by now. Does this guy know how bad your gonna fleece him ? You sound like the Harley shop you only work on new bikes.
Needs blockhead exhaust
💯
Go Eagles!
Idk. Maybe.
Neglecting infection
Is there a chapterv2?
where is the OLD?
You call that an old bike?
I would love you guys to customize a heritage soft tail into a cholo style for me one day
Imho the story seems not legit. Grandpa passed two years ago but had a list for Block to do work…in his home garage? Was there shop two years ago? Chip Foose had this issue, people submitting their own stuff as their wife etc. I’m sure you did your due diligence and it’s content which is good…just doesn’t feel authentic (to me personally). And again I don’t have all of the context.
👋👋👋🇺🇸⚓️🇺🇸🤘😎#Blockfam
What's the point in keeping his grandfather's bike if you're going to completely gut all of it and basically just build a new bike. Not in any way keeping gramps legacy alive. Eta that's not a knock on blockhead, more of just a random statement.
