Operation Hailstone and the World War II Shipwrecks of Truk Lagoon (2023)

Footage from a November-December 2023 trip to Truk Lagoon, Chuuk, Federated States of Micronesia to dive the numerous Japanese wrecks destroyed during the 1944 U.S. attack of Operation Hailstone. Shipwrecks featured include the:

HEIAN MARU (平安丸)
HOKI MARU (伯耆丸)

MOMOKAWA MARU (桃川丸)
NAGANO MARU (長野丸)
NIPPO MARU (日豊丸)
SAN FRANCISCO MARU (桑港丸)
SANKISAN MARU (山鬼山丸)
SHINKOKU MARU (神国丸)
UNKAI MARU NO. 6 (第六雲海丸)
YAMAGIRI MARU (山霧丸)
Dives were conducted from Blue Lagoon Dive Resort on Weno, and supported/hosted by Pete Mesley's Lust 4 Rust Diving Excursions.
