@@b2zap665 Weak, if not to say very weak basic sound. Without the (very good) FX section, it would be totally lost. Many times you have to double or triple the OSC to get some beef and there goes polyphony. It is not what I´d expect from an analog synth. Well, it´s comparable cheap. But... for that money I´d rather get a digital polysynth. Or an used workstation. More value for money. But well... that´s just me - and you asked.
The Deepmind never fails to amaze me. Such a great synth and holds its own next to the Polybrute for analogue feels and diverse palette.

Love my Polybrute. I just accidentially purchased a deepmind 12 second hand at a very good price that'll arrive soon. I'd love to know what you think about those two together. Redundant or complimentary.
@@waveshapes251 definitely not redundant and very complimentary. The Deepmind can have a slightly thicker more Roland-ish sound which is always a winner in the studio. The FX on the Deepmind are also superb so you can pretty much make any sound and texture. As I said earlier I keep coming back to the Deepmind and can’t believe what a good synth it is even at a price that’s unbelievably low.
Alphacode does it again, shows us all that a synth can be so much more than we've been shown before... Happened to me with Argon8 (ended up buying it after the Alphacode patchbank video), and now I think a DM6 may end up on my shopping list...
Go for the DM12 - the extra polyphony is amazing - you get a LOT of synth for the money!

On the magneto preset i hear bit & sample rate reduction , is this a dedicated fx or the one part in the decimator delay ... i want to maybe grab this synth , documenting myself first here ;)

Wav ? No these are not samples, its sysex files for the deepmind. You can load with Deepmind librairian. Thanks

Can you please help, possibilities of sounding only 3 octaves? In keyboard vesion said 4 octaves... is that mean that I can't used Deepmind 12D (module) with 61 midi keyboard, play the same time lowest note C and highest C for example ? Thanks for answer.
You can use it with 61 keys or even 88 if you want.

@@Megamind84 i think ypu mean the oscillator can be set to 3 octaves rabge. As you can see in my video i play the deepmind on a 61 key Polybrute

I have to say I watched alot of DM demos now, I'm very tempted to get one but there is one thing that irks me. I feel on alot alot of patches, there is high end or air or clarity or whatever you want to call it missing. It sounds more muddy than crisp. Especially apparent in Starskys DM vs Pro 6 comparison. Its not in all patches but in some of them, I haven't figured it out yet. Maybe my ears are just broken. (maybe its some aliasing introduced by the DSP or something?!)
Hmm i have to say i have not noticed anything like this to bw fair , it sounded very good to me.
to me it sounds mostly nice. Also, you could add a high freq shelf in your daw or add high harmonics with an internal or external exciter etc., usually synths are running through fx
Who said it is good only for mellow pads? :D
