Great review bro! I did the same, held off on the MAFEX and just sticking w the Legends one, even though I also admit the MAFEX seems like the better figure.
I’m content with this $20 Legends. I can’t justify spending $100 for only an extra head that I want. Lol.

Glad to see you back and starting with you favourite X-Men character especially with their bio explication. For AOA Magneto not having undies i think depending on artists and if you have the family matter 3 pack You can replace it with red cape and head-sculpt with this outfit since he shared similarities with 616 version outfit. Plus glad to have Magneto with undies with can be modern take of him with the purple cape
First my Puerto Rican Taino self smiled when you mentioned it. I use the white hair head sculpt from the black uni on my white uni magneto. I never got the family matters 3 pack and was worried I would never get got a close approximation to Maggy’s true uniform colors and even though this doesn’t come with a BAF, which will stop me from getting a figure from a wave nine times out of ten, I rushed to get this one. The peg hole in the back not being for the cape actually makes me happy because I can pose him on a Hasbro stand even easier. Great Job Sir.

That red and black body I used it for the Magus head and the cape for Adam Warlock.
I'll prefer to get this magneto over the thee pack family matters version man because I like his long hair and shoulder pads with no pants like in the promotional art by David nakayama I think

Kick-ass review Manny. He's definitely an awesome Magneto figure. I can see somebody grabbing that head sculpt cutting off the hair and making a classic Magneto Jim Lee head sculpt with it.

I can see them doing an Ultimate Magneto reusing this base body or a red shirt one using the Red Skull/Dormammu upper body with Kang's arms. And they should let you reveal it. Also, I'm a fan of the X-Men Legends games so I'd like to see them make Ultimate versions of the X-Men characters.

Damn I want that effect almost as bad as this figure, I had to pass on the mafex and after this review I'm very happy I did, but I do plan to customize a shadow face and wire cape tho, and I totally missed the trucks on this guy good pick up.

I don’t know if you missed it during the video but I mentioned it was from Storm Collectibles. It was a build a gravity smash effect for their kingdom of fighters line.

Looks great. My favourite is still the black and red costumed Magneto with this as second. The heads on the Family Matters one don't look right. The white costumed one is a bit disappointing with the head sculpt and lack of ribbed padding on the outside of the thighs.
I would like a more muscled powerful looking Magneto with butterfly joints and better effects.
