Another one of his imposant 103 titles. After what was a bad 2013, especially by his standards, this title kickstarted what would become a very stellar season for the maestro. He was not far off from the #1 spot at the end and ended on a very high note with a Davis Cup title for Switzerland. *I've already created the edit for the semi's against Djokovic, but i can't upload it here.
Berdych was a hell of a powerhouse and a great great player. He always caused Roger all sorts of problems. I think sheer power always bothered Federer, that's why he always had to come up with his full arsenal to be able to prevail against players like him and Del Potro.
You're absolutely right. I didn't mind it one bit, him brilliantly dismantling the big hitters on tour was a sight to behold. His records against them is highly impressive.
Brilliant video quality, and I love your editing as well. You don't only include Fed's winners but some of his fluffs as well. This gives you more of the feeling of the contest, and if anything it only increases my admiration for his style and achievements.
Thank you, professor! I include these type of points mostly because they lead to situations that help tell the story of the match. Semi condensed, if you will. Always great to see insightful comments under my videos. 🫡
They certainly do@@TvRFReloaded. As someone who built his game on Rod Laver in my youth, and considered turning pro but didn't, I've always admired Federer's game and sheer brilliance,, and subscribe to every channel that features The Fed now that he's left the game. You do the best job by far in showcasing his talents--and I say that after watching only this video thus far. I'll enjoy exploring your others.
Hi Prof. I was so happy with your comment i completely forgot to respond to you. Just wanted you to know I really appreciated it, it made my day. @ProfSteveKeen
Hey TvRF! As usual, thanks for everything you do, I like your work a lot. I have to ask you something somewhat related to this video and I think that, if there's someone capable of pulling off this "miracle", it's you: there's an incredible match between Federer and Berdych at the Australian Open 2009 which I couldn't find a good quality video of; do you have this full match in a good quality or do you think you can find it? Keep it up, anyway! Greetings from Italy!
Hey there. Thank you for the nice words. Unfortunately, that match is still only available in very low quality. I can't make any promises, but I will do all I can to make sure that one does see the light of day at some point. It deserves to be out there, and I would love to make an edit for it.
Noice upload. I have no memory of this final for some reason. Patchy one from Fed, with Berdych all over him for a good portion and a fair amount of negative body language from the old man. Great win, and came back from a set down in the SF and F. Good stuff.
Federer still trying to get used to the new racquet. I love watching his early matches in 2014 with this prototype racquet and adapt his technique to it.
16:23-16:36...the point on which Berdych knew the match was all over except Roger kissing the trophy... Hehehehehehehe. That's the thing with Berdych - WYSIWYG. Dude did not have a higher gear to shift into when he was behind. All gas, no breaks until the wheels fell off.

I was just gonna ask about that one vs Novak!
Yes i will upload it to my alternative platforms soon. It'll be in the same quality😁
@TheGodsMustBeCrazy
@@TvRFReloaded I also will wait patiently for all of 2017 Indian Wells and Miami too! One day... Lol!
@@TheGodsMustBeCrazy ha, you're gonna be in for a good one if that's what you're hoping for, rest assured.🫡
I just love this match-up, so underrated. You don't see a lot of these fast, flat points on the tour today. Thanks for the upload.
Loved this match, such great tennis
Still hard to believe this has been 10 years. Thanks for your valiant effort in bringing back the memories.
You're very welcome🙏

Right!? Got a lot more coming from 2014 for ya😎
the loss against him the year before in Dubai must have been the last one against the Birdman?
I believe so yes.
it looks so dark! its like when a floodlight goes out at your local park. lol

Facts, well at least he got a couple good wins out of it, i guess?
