I can't justify the cost or the space used but plenty do it. I know some people have a real issue with selling things once they are in the house but I'm bloody glad I'm not one of them 😂

I've always thought of a grail as being a very personal thing, but I guess you're right in the fact that there are some fairly ubiquitous ones, such as Symbolic, etc. For me, I got one of mine last year, in the reissue of Eternal Nightmare. I'm not even REMOTELY arsed that it's not an OG, tbh. Symbolic is one of mine, too, but that one I think would have to be an OG - at least until it FINALLY gets a reissue - as I love the album that much and I fooking DETEST white vinyl! 😂 As for Vomitheist, I'm still sat here without even so much as a CD copy! 🤣 I really don't understand why these bands/labels do such limited runs. Maybe it's fun to have one of your releases be considered a 'grail', and to see it go for stupid money, but you would have thought it would be nicer for them to have more money in their own back pocket! The first time I heard the term 'Grail' used regularly was when reading through mailing lists looking for 60s/70s Hard Rock & Psych records. The hype by the sellers in the bands descriptions would often be hilarious and over the top...'grails' and obscure 'relics' galore haha! They could hype things harder back then because you couldnt just pop online and listen to it before ya spend yer cash. To chase a grail and finally get it was often disappointing. Good to see ya and hope you enjoy the gig mate!

Cd prices are stupid at the minute, they are averaging around 13 -14 quid. I seen the latest 200 stab wounds in HMV and I’m not paying that.
