She's absolutely gorgeous my brother from another mother ❤😊
Thanks brother! Take care and hope the wife is doing well.
This is a fantastic tutorial, Justin. You strike a perfect tone with your delivery and impart a lot of useful info while producing a terrific finish. 👍
Thank you very much. I'm glad it was useful. Have a great weekend!
Hey Justin, this Mustang is looking like something John Wick would drive! Coming along awesome, looking forward to future updates.
Thanks Chris! Have a great week!
Dude, she came out beautiful!
Thanks Chris. This heat is making it tough.
Thanks for the tutorial, Justin. I can't wait to get into airbrushing! Beautiful paint job too!
Thanks. Airbrushing is a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it. There is no way I could go back to rattle cans.
The paint came out fantastic
Thanks and thanks for stopping by. Welcome to the channel.
Great paint job!!! Enjoyed the video
Thanks Chris!
Stunning finish I'm learning so much more from your videos keep up your fantastic work 👏

Thanks brother!
GREAT vid brother! Looks awesome! Can't wait to see more!!
Thanks Mark! Have a great day!
What an outstanding paint job!
Thank you very much!
Very impressive paint job Justin. Like your usage of surgical blades since it is like micro surgery.
Thanks David. for BMF they really work better than a regular hobby blade. You have to get used to how light pressure you need to work with them, but they do a better job of cutting and not tearing than a regular hobby blade.
Beautiful paint work , Justin. Lobe that color.👍
Thanks brother! Have a great weekend!
Nice work! As a new airbrush user it's nice to see how it's done. Thanks for sharing ~ Cory
Hi Cory! Welcome to the channel. Thanks for stopping by and watching!

Very nice finish Justin, I really like the color scheme.
Thanks Mark!
I haven't watched a painting video for quite a while but I did enjoy this one,Justin 👍😎. I like your calm approach to the job and way you described it all👍. Coincidentally, I was talking to another modeller about different base coats to candies a few days ago.😉👍. Great finish, thanks for showing and best wishes from jolly old England 👍😎Pete 🤓
Thanks Pete. You can get some cool results with different bases.
Looks awesome Justin!!
Thanks Tom!
Great tutorial Justin😃
Thanks Jim!
Love this build!
Thanks!
Paint job came out amazing buddy. Awesome job.
Thanks Buddy

I agree Scale Finishes HOK is Top Notch!!!!! Nice color choices. Great Video!!! Gotta love Texas weather. I thought it was the MG video??? I'll be watching
You were right it was the MGB
Looks great
Thanks Steve!
Great paint job 👍🏿
Thanks Leon!
Looks awesome Justin, nice Tutorial. I'm like you very picky on the final finish. You did great for 90 deg. Mr Unicorn was for-sure the way to go, love that stuff always buy it any chance I get. Beautiful color, I have yet to use this brand, will have to try it out.. Have a good one!
Thanks Kreg. I honestly can say I've never had anything to wrong shooting scale finishes that I can't absolutely trace back to something dumb I did.
Nice!!❤
Thanks Dejan!
nice justin that is a good one
Thanks Theo!
Paint work came out outstanding! Beautiful result no matter how you said it wasn't coming out for you. I could see how the different coats did look better than the one before. Nice save!! My Achilles heel! Spraying clear coat. Well, general body painting, but sometimes it comes out better than others. I need to one type of clear coat that works for me and stick with that. I have yet to try 2K clear of any kind.
Thanks Larry. My favorite parts of building are engines and painting the bodies. At the same time, body painting is the most stressful, especially with candy paints as there is more to go wrong.
2K Urethane clear is one of the most forgiving clear coats out there. It goes over pretty much everything without causing a reaction, and it gives a great shine as long as you get it to go down smooth. What it looks like out of the gun is pretty much what it will look like when it cures.
the down sides are, it takes typically 3 days to fully cure. It attracts dust like a magnet for the first 1 to 2 hours. If it goes on too heavy it can pool along the edges and panel lines. And the stuff is toxic. I always wear gloves and a 3M respirator with p100 organic vapor filters.
@@JHartModelworks Great information on the 2K clears. I used gloves and a respiratory, but I don't think the filters are that fine.
This is Dutch with my new channel. I hope for your support. Very nice, beautiful color thumbs up!!!👍🏻 👍🏻
Thank You!!!
I just picked up some KkOoL colors using the code for scale finishes!!!!!!!
That paint looks incredible. Great information Justin. Doing a coat of the red before the strip color is genus! I never heard that before. What psi did you run? I'm about to paint my Camaro and still dialing the airbrush in. Thanks buddy.
I run around 20 psi for pretty much everything but alclad paints. they spray best around 10 usually.
Nice paint work, color is awesome! Not sure if you covered it, but what airbrush and what PSI did you use? Thanks Justin 👍
Everything but the clear was shot through the Gaahleri Mobius .3. I switched back to the Badger Omni 4000 with a 0.3 needle set up for the clear as the clear wasn't smoothing out with the mobius at this temperature. As for PSI, I shoot everything but Alclad at 20psi. Alclads I drop to 10 as they are crazy thin.
@@JHartModelworks👍
Does that hood scoop come in the C1 kit?
Looks great…what engine do you have in mind?
The hood scoop does not come from C1. Pixel 3d did another body kit for the 69 mustang in 1/10 scale. I spent the $10 for his kit just for this scoop and scaled it down and printed it in 1/24. I just really wanted this hood scoop as I saw a photo on line of a car with it and it looked cool.
If all goes well I'm planning to shoe horn a Coyote predator from the GT500 into it.
@@JHartModelworks That scoop definitely makes it look NASTY with bad intentions my man🤌
What air pressure are you shooting your primer and paint. I have a Mobius .3 but tend to use my GSI Creos PS 290 which is a .5 needle. Its my favorite because it is hands down the easiest airbrush I have to spray with. Clean up of the nozzle and associated hardware is super easy.

@@JHartModelworksThanks I like that you clear over your foil. Everyone I know tells me foil after clearing the car. I like your process far better😊
@@pat2068 2K clear hardens. So if you clear after the foil, the foil will not only get a polished gloss look, it will also be more resilient and less prone to come off during handling.
