The organization failed its fans, failed Dame and failed the last 11 years by never putting a team around a true superstar. I was much less concerned with what the Blazers would get as I was wanting Dame to go to a contender. Portland has had a decades-long history of doing the wrong thing and making the worst decisions. Dame should have left the Blazers when he was 24 or 25 instead of wasting his prime there. He is 33 now and this is his last chance to win the championship. He will stick for 2 or 3 years there.
