Super Baba TV series was broadcast in Turkey for many years and was a very beautiful series that depicted the concept of family, sacrifice and love. I was in my 30s when this series aired. I still get teary-eyed every time I hear the music from the series 🥹 Years have passed, but even today's young people know the lyrics of the song by heart, the Yeni Türkü group made a legendary song. The band is quite old, they are still together. It is a very popular band in Turkey, its songs are known by everyone ❤️

OMG...where did you find this? Not only Yeni Türkü is a still-active amazing band (featuring Oya Küçümen in this song) but also this tv show was such an amazing one in 90s and this is its soundtrack. It was a drama with very funny pieces about a really super dad who takes care of his 3 children in the best possible way he can. And it was also about how an ordinary Turkish father can grow and improve as a person and as a father, break his boundaries and taboos while his children are growing. A different time, a different Turkey, a happier Turkey despite all problems. This made my day man!
I see everybody told you details about "Super Baba (Super Father)" series. This is a "Yeni Türkü " song. For this song their vocalist was Oya Küçümen. Shes a great singer too.

Now I feel something. I barely watched the series but the melody calls for the perfect father. Always.

Everytime I hear this song ,I feel pain in my heart and soul.I can't breath for a while.It reminds me my childhood.I'm sure it's the same for all of us that lost their fathers.
Aaaah Janne, of course it brings a lot memories back... this was a very popular tv series like 25 years ago. I think an average millenial would remember it but I doubt that the generation z would know it. Btw the band yeni türkü was a really cool turkish "indie" band(I beleive calling this turkish indie music would not be wrong) they have very deep, cool and fun songs. You may wanna check them out. For me the song "çember" was very meaningful. Not their top hit song but a very special one(at least for me...) the lyrics are so deep. Maybe you would like to try that in your private session :) Cheers!

It took me back to my childhood, and in an interesting way, to the present. My first love as a child took me to Şevval Sam, and now, as a father, it has become a song we sing with my daughter in the car. We had a song in common with my daughter. Each note touches a different memory.

I was born in 2003 , ı dont inow why, since my childhood, whenever ı heard this song begins, suddenly ı start crying. Even when ı was kid, ıt was same. I cant imagine listening this without crying when ı get old. I remember when ı var 13 years old, one of my clasmates dad suddenly died. We were in music class, and teacher started this song. She heard it and started cry. I felt so bad for her. Even at break time, she was still crying.. this song already sad and ı cant imagine for people who dads gone.. ı especially searched ıf someone reacted to this song. Thank you. Friday Night's prime time show... It was a drama. A story of a divorced struggling dad who has 3 kids, lived his all life in the same neighborhood in a beautiful Bosphorus seaside. If there's a subtitle, i recommend you to watch it. Warm family show.

Yeni Türkü is a fantastic music band. 'Türkü' refers to a type of song that belongs to the Turks. Yeni Türkü has beautiful songs.Generally, their music and songs belong to Greek composers and famous Turkish poet Murathan Mungan wrote their lyrics. This lyrics are very meaningful and ıt's hard to be translate it another language. By the way, a few years ago, I received a postcard from Finland using Postcrossing. The card came from the city of 'Turku,' and on the back of the postcard, I remember seeing a theater/opera building. The first time I heard of a city named Turku, a smile crossed my face. In Türkiye, there is a local brand called 'Torku' that produces various chocolates, biscuits, and more, and it's very famous.
