    The new Apache looks alot better than the older ones that’s foresure. I’m guessing it’s a lot less money than a Deere for instance. Will be interesting to see how it performs and see what you guys think of it. Put it through the paces boys.

    We own a 4045R Deere and a 1250 Apache. Put them head to head all the time. Apache has a way better boom just rides so nice. Apache burns almost half the fuel doing same acres. Apache is so relaxing to be around with not having to rev the motor wide open like the Deere. Deere with empty tank is heavier then the Apache loaded. You can run skinner tires with the Apache. It does very good in the slough crossing with the 2 wheel drive. As long as they stay affordable we might be trading off our big Deere and getting another Apache.

    • @Ridgefarming
      @Ridgefarming Před 2 dny +3

      New John Deere boom track is way better and now they have automatic idle control so it’s not always screaming.

    • @iafarm5686
      @iafarm5686 Před 2 dny +2

      Apache is extremely impressive. Only thing is it's a long chassis and in the hills I use to work in sometimes the rear tires would be a row off the fronts. So we cross rowed 90% of the time

    • @keithfarms
      @keithfarms Před dnem

      We looked into replacing our big Deere to keep it new and reliable. It was more money to trade our 4045R off on a new Deere then just keep our nice sprayer and buy an Apache 1250 with 133’ boom and now have two big sprayers. 🤔

    Thanks for another great video Chet and Eric and Brody.
    It was interesting and refreshing for sure.
    Thank you Eric for explaining the spraying of the notorious weeds in the field without hurting the corn. Eric you have a good command of how to handle dangerous chemicals and how to apply the chemicals on the various plants. Appreciated the time you took to explain chemical rules when applying. Good job Eric.
    Like that new Apache sprayer. Looks very easy to operate and has great features. Tank is 1250 which Chet feel is a bit small in size but time will tell how it goes. Looks quite light weight which is good and narrow tires. Overall appears to be a very nice sprayer to give it a try. Good demo unit.
    Changing the tire width on the loader tractor took a bit it looks like. But you all got it done no problems.
    Glad you are feeling better Chet. Dad too. These chest colds really knock a person down. Hang in there everyone.
    Thanks for everything. You all take care and be safe.

    Lots of guys here in Eastern Nebraska that want to run their own acres but not jump up to the big money iron run these. Many like the simplicity and we have a dealer within a couple hours yet as one location closed that had support.
    As a former commercial applicator, a number of you farms on youtube have the support capacity to run the 1200 gallon tanks. Many farmers almost can't keep up with an 800 gallon tank and most of it comes around fill ability of the tender truck. When you run a 1200-1300 gallong tank there's a lot of times where tank mixes at a 13-15 gpa rate will be full even jugs of somet things. Bulk chems it obviouslly doesn't matter.

    You guys should try to new rogator/fendt high clearance sprayer. We used to have Deere high clearance sprayers. Switched to rogator and we absolutely love them. Have not got it stuck yet and we had some wet ones. The boom is very stable. And strong. Spraying pressure doesn’t surge or drop is always held at what you set it. Very nice ride. You can get them tall enough to spray fungicides on corn.
