What’s on your bucket list this year?

Gannett is tough! Tried via Tourist Creek twice and couldn’t get it either time. Thinking about building my endurance to hit it via Glacier Trail. I have heard the terrain is less rugged than Wells/Tourist, albeit much longer. Great video I enjoyed it.

Thanks man! What was the Cruz with the Tourist Creek route you think?

@@ChadLubinski Well, there’s so much to say haha. I stopped at Skinny Lake and didn’t go up the couloir, it was 80 degrees out and the snow looked very soft and slushy. But from all the research I’ve done, it seems to be pretty tough. Class 4-5 moves depending on your line, there’s sometimes a bergschrund, etc. Probs the crux. Picking when to leave the Highline is tough too, crossing the Green last year was hard with how much water there was, and the alternate route via a forgotten climbers route is a bushwhack from hell. That route does exist, there’s a cairn every now and then, and a VERY faint path. But not reliable. It’s marked in a South Wind River map I think, from Earthwalk Press or something.

Plan to cross the divide in the winds at Angel pass and fish upper golden lakes. Probably going to checkout the dinwoody glacier in August
