Super-G Gasser in the backyard

Here is my first flight on the Super-G gas conversion from JCD / Gas Powered Helicopters. Still needs a bit of tuning, engine is rich, too much pitch, etc., but I am impressed, one 10 minute flight is only $1.00! Clean and smooth power for those wanting something different and longer flight times.

I love my new RAW 580 Nitro, but man nitro is expensive! My question is how does this compare to an OS GT15HZII? Thanks!!

Nitro is indeed expensive, I love my 580 nitro too, long flight times and a lot of fun. I don't know how this engine would compare to the GT15HZII, never really flown one, but if I could guess, this engine has way more power simply because of the CC.

in stock form is just a bit more powerful than the gt15hzII with the huge benefit of a lot more cooling due to the massive fan mounted on these engines. if you tune a 30cc then you get basically same power as a 105 nitro. i own both GT15HZII and a 30cc gasser.
