Yes! I'm brand new to Warhammer and I'm participating in my first campaign with my new necrons (inspired by Luka) I'm excited to see smaller games and the tactics used both in game and list building!

With night lords they can be decent, mwg should repaint them since death guard cant take them
Even as night lords, they're kinda weak when you dont deploy them, no real solution to that problem

I think this was actually the best batrep I've ever seen
As much as i liked this, randomizing the turn order after the first battle round was a really crap idea. Should have just stuck with the same order as the first round and continued
I used to watch MWG back in 2013-2014. it Feels Good to be back.
I like the circa dozen boyz plus a vehicle-mounted wrecking ball banging on the rhino while the warpsmith inside tries to weld it together again.
This is a really cool way of building armies!

this sounds amazing and I might want to try something like it in my home campaigns but we don't typically own/play choas space marines. So I'm trying to figure out what a replacement demon prince would be for say space marines?
Hey Josh , you can always excuse the Dominus' Psychic powers by calling them archeotech bionics... for example Smite= him sending some EM pulse that screws with electronics and nervous systems alike , and Infernal gaze is just some wicked eye Laser built into his optics
Or a captured unsanctioned witch rendered down to the brain in the jar on the dominuss back, directed by autosuggustion, supported by the remaining biological parts of the dominus.

We were trying to run this among our group with the rules provided in the description, but soonly i realised they are not that identical to the one you guys seem to be playing.. for example the way you started wasnt explained anywhere (the warlord, 1 troop and 2 random units (which seems like damn fun so we are doing that anyway)) and also the chaos retinue is different in the vid and the file

So are you guys using 8th edition coherency or 9th ? Those grots are having a blast with that conga line XD
Actually if you look closely, they are coherent. At both ends of the conga line, there is a triangle of 3 grots each within 2" of one another. The grots in the middle are surrounded by 2 grots on either side so they're good too.

If the armies are so random how do they keep it balanced? Surely whoever gets the best units in the beginning is just a lot better off?
