One of the toughest windows we’ve had to deal with as fans, Fabinho, Milner, Ox, Bobby, Naby and even our captain Hendo all leaving. Been an emotional one for sure
we moved very fast.. hendo the one i didnt expect to move out. i also expect fabinho to stay with some changes like being CB or stay as DM. now we need to find someone defensively better like him. so we had 100% new look at MF

@@jimbojimbo6873 only if we had an replacement ready, this was unexpected and therefore looks like very bad planning for a new season, the same with Henderson, they should be made to feel that they were the most important players in the team, not that they should expect way less playing time as was the case with Hendo!
219 games in 5 years is absolutely insane by the way, that’s an average of 43 games a season. You absolutely gave your all until your legs gave way Fab. We’re never going to fully replace you just like we have barely replaced Gini. You deserve your place in the legends category for everything you’ve done for us

This is making me all teary eyed. Fabinho was our pillar in this successful Klopp era which saw us win almost everything. Rolls Royce of a player, one of the most important players of the Klopp era. For me I think his performance in the Barcelona game at Anfield is unparalleled. To keep Messi Suarez at bay, not giving them an inch in the midfield, it was champions stuff. We often talk about the goals in that game but the defending and ball retention in midfield was thrilling.
