I have been doing some research and I have found out that I am very much of Slovakian decent. This comes from my mother's side. Demographics here 62yo white male.

a little mix up with young capital city of Bratislava..... actually in 1968 there was a transformation of CSSR (czechoslovak socialist republic) to a federation of two republics CSR (czech socialist republic) with capital city Prague and SSR (slovak socialist republic) with capital city Bratislava - with the formal capital city for the world - Prague. this on the formal side. on the informal side - creation of czechoslovak republic in october 1918 (the first CSR - after WWI), there was always set up that first CSR is a home of two nations with a formal capital city Prague and Prague was also considered as a capital city for czechs (and also for morava and slezsko people) and Bratislava was considered as a capital city for slovaks. so, it really depends on point of view. from 1968 CSSR was a federation the same way as it is USA today, for example. with many capital cities for it's states and one formal capital city for the world.....

Yes and no. For exemple where i live in western Slovakia (Myjavské Kopanice) we drink "Slivovica", when we go to the east of Slovakia so they have beer "Šariš" and in the south (Komárno/Komárom) the Hungarians have wine again
