If you’re gonna leave it exposed, I would put a cap on it cause after a while the water pressure will probably grow a hole through your fiberglass
I’ve never had an issue with any of my 5 waverunners, but adding a cap would be easy and cheap to do if you wanted the extra peace of mind.
Did you (or do you) have any of those skis for a length of time where you could see if this would in fact have any adverse effects to the ski?
