Dripping Springs Tiger Band at Sam Houston State University Marching Festival, 10/30/2010, Finals

After an absence of three years, the Dripping Springs Tiger Band competed at the Sam Houston University Marching Festival on Saturday, October 30, 2010, in a field of over 30 marching bands. They placed second in class in preliminaries, one tenth of one point behind the winner. The Tiger Band poured its heart and soul into its finals performance (which you see here), and won the Grand Championship with a score well above that of the runner-up. Tiger Band kids, you and your directors rise to the occasion every time. The last few minutes of the video show an encapsulated version of the finals awards and the Tiger Band drum majors presenting their Grand Championship award to the band seniors, who marched their last show as high school students that night. (*NOTE: Opening title in video reads "October 20, 2010"...it's actually October 30. Ever notice how close the 2 and 3 are on the keyboard? Oy.)

Couldn't believe you won until I actually got a chance to see the video. Yikes!!! The move beginning about 1:30 through 2:00 is insane! I would have handed you the trophy right there. Incredible. Congrats.

@bitownzpicklz0: Yep, that's why it says it in the heading and in the body copy. You must have missed the note at the end of the body copy. I shouldn't try to download, edit, export and upload video at 4 in the morning, I guess!
