Today I made a lovely, peach colored Lotus Flower Ring.

1x Gem Band Green - approx. 6.5cm - has to fit sideways in the 20mm circle - www.aliexpress.com/item/10050...

2x Golden Rings - 20mm (End size will be 17-18mm) - www.aliexpress.com/item/40009...
Circle Ruler (20mm & 14mm used) - In an office supplies store, papeterie or craft store
Poster Stripes - Craft store
Note: For the final cure I use a big nail curing machine.
Reminder: UV Resin can cause allergical reactions, please make sure you follow the using instructions and protect yourself (gloves & mask if needed, but always good ventilated working area).

Hi and thank you for asking. It also should work with epoxy resin, but maybe the gemstones will need extra support to not slide while curing. Also if you put the rings together to cure, use some extra support to hold them in shape during this time (tape or picture tape gums, silicone mat - as example).

What size is the finished ring? I'm looking to make size 5,6,7 us ring sizes. Absolutely stunning, I've been binging your videos all night!

I measured it again and it is something between 16.5mm and 17mm. So between a 6.5 and 7 in US size. You can play a bit with the size by placing the middle part (gemstone band) flush to the inner size of the golden ring, so you get the sizes between 7.5 to 8. By placing the middle part flush to the outer line of the golden rings, you get the size as in this video. Or you could use an 18mm golden ring as a base to get smaller sizes like 5 to 5.5

Does the resin have a life span? How hardy is the ring?
Hi. Do you mean before or after curing? I don't know about before curing, but I guess it's about how you store the uv resin after you opened it. After curing it lasts long. I still have all my creations in a good condition.
As I used the resin just as glue, the ring is very solid with the crystals. It's light, but very hard. UV resin itself is not scratch resistent.
