    He’s getting 20% of the club for a third of an Omobamidele, which seems like a bargain for him.

    Thanks both, enjoyable and thought provoking as always. Admittedly skeptical of Hwang but let's see, he will get game time in a couple of weeks. For me the performance of club management remains unresolved even given progress on the pitch. 2 years in the PL and 2 more with parachute payments should not lead to the current financial situation. Dependency on promotion for financial stability is no way to run the club, self-funding model or not. As I have said before the goodwill and absolute generosity of the owners compensating for executive management failure. Lets see how the dynamic changes with a new Sporting Director, which should happen soon with the transfer window closed. OTBC

    Clubs cant compete at the highest level without major investment... If they wish to continue the current model as it is nothing much will change

    He's got very little money behind him compared to almost all of the championship owners. This won't mean a vast shift in ethos.

      I think you’re right. I can’t see him splashing out on the club. I can see him buying up the shares and selling them on for profit down the road.

      Well if it makes you feel any better he runs the Milwaukee Brewers very well and sure as hell doesn’t do any of the miserable things mentioned in these comments.

  • @Liofa73
    @Liofa73 Před 8 měsíci

    It doesn’t really matter how many shares he holds, he’s not going to put a lot of money into the club. Some fans see him as the big bucks saviour of the club. They’re going to be very unhappy.

    So Webber and Attanasio have a great relationship…. Webber is leaving that point is moot.

    Maybe we might see us re invest money back into this squad directly from transfer sales in the future or we will forever be a yo yo club rotting in mid table

      Can you be a yo-yo club that rots in midtable? 🤪

    Norwich city will never be a premier league team consistently yoyo club at best

      Better a yo-yo club than suffer mid-table mediocrity. The money from the Prem has gone towards upgrades to training and the academy.
