When swire first revealed as the next alter, I was a bit skeptical about her Because she is merchant spesialist. But after this showcase, Her kit seems pretty solid as a lane holder and makes me consider saving up orundum to pull for her when she came out on global 🤤

Based on what I've seen from some of Ling duo clears, they usually used the other ranged operator to bait patriot's spear and Ling and her dragons are enough to handle Patriot 2nd phase by themselves. If you want to watch any of these clears, you can access it at arkrec wiki.
Haha nice. I knew Ling would be an easy guess. I don't get how double ranged op works though, wouldn't one of them die in agony from Patriot's halberd attack?

Well to be fair, the stronger Operators we got the more bullshit abilities the enemies have
Thats why more and more people play nicheknight cuz you can almost solo any boss.
Later chapters and events and IS's become progressively harder. So no, AK does not become easier. It's earlier stages become easier. New operator keep up with new content.

But trapmasters more flexible on their traps deployment
Not overshadow, but comparable. They excel at different scenarios, since they work way differently. Notable difference includes defense breakpoint (Swiralt does 2.2k dmg, Dorothy can go up to 4k+), CC capability, how trappers can place traps globally while Swiralt can't , etc. So I think it's unfair to say it overshadows trapmaster
Nope, a trapmasters trap can be placed anywhere on the map with a deployable tile, and Swire eating 2 dp every second is kinda a big deal.
But her traps do damage than Robin and Frost.

yes and no trapmasters are far more versatile in where they can put their traps but swire can still use her traps even if enemies are on the tiles
