While Spider Man without holding back literally could punch Scorpion Jaw off and knock out Rhino with one punch, easily overpowers Venom when we usually see him getting his butt kicked by Venom on a daily basis, really shows how much self control he held when every fight he could've ended it with a punch. he also stood his ground against Colossus and Illyana who both contained the Phoenix Force. And when compared to someone like Bane, it would be just another criminal needed to be put in the jail.
