first of all, I definitely feel like I need to defend Cudi for all the people saying he is fake deep, fake woke, trying to be different, and everything under that generalization. no matter whether it's his mainstream joints or his underrated ones they make you feel something, something that CAN be felt with mainstream music but it's up to the listener to interpret, relate, and connect these feelings to a part of life where maybe everything wasn't going well. he puts in raw emotion, passion, and everything in between. sadness and happiness. he makes you feel that. real fans love cudi for cudi and for the way he has helped us through when we are going through those range of feelings. some may not have the ears to appreciate a real artist but that doesn't mean you have to be against it.
