Looks tasty. Just curious as to why you add the Fenugreek and garam masala at the end and not with the rest of the spices?
I think because the spices need time to get absorbed into the liquid and meat
Tried yours recipe today step by step and my gosh it came out soo wonderfully delicious. Thankyou soo soo much 👍

What's a good substitute for Coriander
Should I cook the meat (after adding water) on medium heat or low heat?
Mashahllah nice sister
Thank you!
Am about to try your recipe 😋
Hope you enjoy it 😍
@@CookwithNabeela loved it I never been more confident to make it thank you 💕
When you are cooking for 45-60 mins what heat level do you leave it on?
Keep it on medium heat and make sure to keep mixing every so often. It also depends on your meat. If the water is drying up faster, then reduce the heat.
Can you season the lamb/mutton overnight too, or it's best to follow the method in the video?
Its best to just follow this recipe, it will taste delicious and doesn't require overnight marination. 🙂
Excellent
Thank you so much 😀
Hello, I have noticed you have listed fenugreek seed in the recipe, however, in the video you have added dry fenugreek? what is best to use, please?
Thanks for pointing that out. Its best to use the dried fenugreek :)
Delicious
Thank you 😋

Can anyone tell at what temperature you cook said curry at for 1 hour. I assume its a nice simmer but it doesn't say....
Hi Benjamin, cook it on medium heat for roughly between 45-60 minutes. It depends on the quality of meat you have, hence the 15-minute time gap. Make sure to stir every 5-10 mins so the curry doesn't stick to the pan. Hope this helps 🙂
Salaam, which meat parts do you use please? Is the leg or shoulder?
Do u have to boil lamb first?
Very tasty!!!
Thanks a lot
Making this today💜
How did it turn out for you?
It was really nice & easy to make. Thank you! :)
Hi.. want to know if how spicy it is? I’m planning to cook this but kids doesn’t like too spicy.
Hi Kristine, its not that spicy but if you want, you can decrease the chilli powder to 1/2 tsp. Let me know how it turns our for you 🙂
If I want to add curd to this, then at what stage should I add it?
Add it before you add the water and mix properly so it doesn't curdle 🙂
In process of trying this out now, is there a particular name for this dish?
Just an update, it turned out pretty good, but I accidentally misread tsp as tbsp so we had an extremely strong tasting stew.
Gonna make this now 😋
How did it turn out?
@@CookwithNabeela omg it was delicious. I make a lot of curries but only ever with chicken pieces so this was my first attempt at lamb .. 3 ppl had dinner and 3 plates were completely empty at the end. Ty so much for sharing this wonderful recipe 🙏🏽 🍛 😋
A few questions:
1. Can I use chopped tinned tomatoes instead of fresh tomatoes ?
2. When you put the lid on and cook for 60 minutes, do you have to stir occasionally ?
3. After you put the garam masala fenugreek etc, how long do you then let it simmer for ? And do you put the lid on ?
4. How do you get rid of the meat smell before you cook it ? Can I soak the meat in vinegar overnight to get rid of the meat smell, would you recommend that
1. You can use canned tomatoes also
2. Stir every so often so it doesn't burn from the bottom
3. When you put the garam masala and dried fenugreek, you don't need to cook but if you want to give it a mix for a minute or two.
4. Some people do use vinegar to clean their meat but I don't. I just give it a good wash. If there is too much of a smell, that means the meat is not right.
Hope this helps 🙂
Nice simple easy video, only thing I would not use so much oil it's not necessary when using fatty red meat as enough oil comes off the meat, I only ever use a little butter or dash of olive oil. 😉
Low heat or high heat
This is nice, how come u didn't add salt and green chilli?
I did add the salt 🙂
How would this be with chicken?
Just curious in the ingredients it says 2 green chillies but doesn't say where or when to put them in
Hi Jade, my apologies. It was a typo but you can add the chilies towards the end or with the spices if you like it spicy 🙂
Total cooking time?
I might have this wrong but did you cook the mutton within a hour ? Wow tell me your secret as mutton usually takes way more than that to get it tender??
amaaaaazing
Thank you!
Can i use fried onion instead?
It's best to use the fresh onions
good luck🤞
What kind of heat did you cook this dish on?
Delicious 😊😄
Thank you Sara 😋Don't forget to like and subscribe 🙂
What is goat meat like? Is it as good as lamb?
Nice video
