bro sorry u had to go thru that, I'm a former recruit what I discovered is that deficiency in some key nutrients due to the rigors of the training can affect ur mental health significantly. I was discharged from training in 2016, till this day I'm still trying to recover health wise.

Dude I couldn't carry the weapon with me I didn't have a locker to put it in either plus everyone did gone.....I didn't know that inspection keep on every Friday plus the armory store wasn't open in the early morning and I was reporting sick so my plan was that I would do what me a do and come back to return it but that didn't work so understand I didn't tell the full story in the video if yuu work a 1 jr yuu know how it set up

Listening to you it is now a little clearer to me why the JDF is not what it was in my time. The army is not for everyone son. The basic training is meant to weed out those who are not strong enough for its requirements, but some still slip through the cracks and when they do it creates a story like yours. You still seem to be unaware of how serious the loss of your weapon is. Yes I said loss because if you don’t have it and you didn’t turn it in to the arms store then it is lost. Those are mistakes to be made while you are a recruit and that is why the Lance Corporal rode you the way he did. He realized that you were not fully baked and should not be there. The fact that you were at the point of possibility shooting someone is more proof. I am not saying this to berate you but part of growth is the acknowledgment of flaws and shortcomings. The weaker minds out there will see it the way you present it and that is fine because as I said before, the army is not for everyone. As we used to say, “yuh see soldier pan truck back wid big gun and think say it nice, we neva send come call yuh” for those who think they have the strength of body, mind and character and the fortitude, stamina and humility to endure the molding process where you will be broken down and rebuilt then I can tell you from personal experience it is a rewarding experience like no other that will give you the necessary tools to take on most of the challenges life will throw your way. I'm wondering why so many privates leave the JDF and join the police force. Most new police batch always have a few ex soldiers.
Maybe it's for the freedom of going home whenever and the powers the police have 🤷‍♂️. In police force they basically live an adult life with freedom. JDF them boy you up and one heep a barracks living, getting locked up, inspections and muster parades.

I went through a similar situation where a sgt tek set on me and I had it in mind to put a bullet in his skull but then I took the matter to my OC and eventually got two months leave and fly out and never return till they discharge me.if I did go back after my leave ended I would have certainly been in prison now because I definitely would have popped a corn in his head

You should have documented all the incidences, time and date. Then make your reports, then document when you submitted those reports, keep a copy and the name of the officer who you reported it to.
