Clocking in at exactly 402 cubic inches, the car’s rowdy 396 twists epic horsepower into miles of low-end torque! That monster mill spins power through a traditional Muncie 4-speed to a familiar 12-bolt axle that’s finished with an open differential. That proven drivetrain rides an adjustable Heidts 4-link, which pushes a fully independent front-clip that’s been thoughtfully upgraded with modern coil-overs and beefy Heidts control arms. That suspension, planting the car three inches lower than stock, gets led by a power-assisted Classic Performance Products steering box. Stops are provided by power-assisted Wilwood calipers, which squeeze a quartet of drilled and slotted rotors. And at the corners of the car, attractive Billet Specialties Fuelies spin 235/45ZR17 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZRs in front of 255/45ZR18 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZRs. Between the doors, an era-correct vinyl interior that’s as timeless now as it was in 1966! Firm Super Sport buckets cage a factory console that’s centered on a short Hurst shifter.
