Dude. You keep tryin force Sakura down our throats and seriously she’s a shit character. We don’t care that they HAD to hype her up in novels to keep her relevant. Her character was written extremely poorly. She was a horrible friend to Naruto, never self reflects on being so shit, never apologizes to Naruto for being so shit to him, and even after the time skip she hesitated to help him when he was about to lose to pain. Nobody cares about the “medical ninja rule” bs, if you saw supposedly one of your “best friends” about to be killed you are a shit friend for not jumping in. Everybody was dead already, and the ones left would’ve been killed off by pain if NOT for Naruto. You keep saying “if she tried to help then everybody would’ve died, no. If NARUTO died then everybody including Sakura would’ve been killed by pain so she wouldn’t have been able to save anybody. She’s a shitty ass character that for sum reason you keep trying to hype up as a sleeper that we should show more respect.

Not that I think this is likely, but I do have another possibility, and it relates to one of my favourite pet peeves, Why did Shibai transcend from Earth? I think it's always had to do with the sage animals, and that their powers, and indeed senjutsu itself, have nothing to do with the Otsutski.
Either Omnipotence doesn't affect the sage animals, or it does, but they have their own ways to see the inconsistencies and pierce the veil, but they're able to do it faster. Let's assume, for the sake of argument, that the use of Omnipotence is interpreted by all the sage animals as an attack against them all - whatever their old rivalries may be, they can be put on hold until this gets sorted out.
Lady Katsyuu reaches out to Sakura, knowing that the slugs will have to do something they've never done and have a sage join the fight. Between this request and Sarada's obvious insistence on the truth, I don't see Omnipotence standing a chance - heck maybe Kastyuu can heal the memories of Sakura. And this then is where Sakura has gone - to some secret location to work with Lady Katsyuu to become the first slug sage. Unfortunately, this wouldn't make her relevant in the grand scheme of things, but does give her a boost for one last OG Team Seven battle.

I always wanted for Sakura to become a slug sage because that + 100 Healings would absolutely make her a rival for some of the strongest characters in the verse. I think the most interesting thing would be if Sakura was locked up, but wasn’t affected by omnipotence, and if she was revealed to have kaguya karma marking later in the story

I hear what you're saying, but a flip side to this argument is her realizing that all of Konoha is more or less under a genjutsu. As the head medical ninja you could argue it's her duty to FIX that, even if it means leaving Konoha. Sakura is war hardened and understands that losses will ensue on both sides of this story regardless of what she does so why not take affirmative action?

Omnipotence affecting certain people in different ways depending on their base personality is something I kept thinking about. Sakura would actually be the best character to display this as she has obsessed over sasuke since adolescents and even after marriage. Her having kaguya's karma mark sets her up to fight jura who most likley has isshiki in him somewhere, because kaguya betrayed isshiki and nearly killed him. Even sakura having pink hair which is sometimes used to represent love, alongside the fan theory that sarada ms eyes won't lose light due to being awakened through pure love could all be brought together by the fact that "love conquers all". Unfortunately, though if kishimoto does go this route I think Sakura will eventually die in a fight.
If Sakura AND Sasuke went rogue after Narutos "death", and Sarada saying Boruto is innocent, Why didnt Shikamaru, knowing Narutos trust to sasuke, and sakura, being the squad to LITERALLY save the world, see this as strange sooner?

Sasauke wasn't broken out of it, he only chose to trust sarada over his own memories due to her suddenly awakening MS.
he's not wrong though. Or at least that's how I interpreted it. Any time they've used the sharingan for anything genjutsu related they make it VERY clear. But there wasn't anything like that. She just looked like up at him crying and begging. Not to mention, she didn't even have the MS yet/didn't know she had it to use it in that moment. Also I'm pretty sure Sasuke can at the very least resist genjustu from a brand new MS anyway

Unfortunately I feel like the “she is affected and is just in the hospital” is definitely the correct answer. You are 100% correct that it wouldn’t make sense for someone as strong willed as Sakura to not go after Sasuke, or at the very least leave it to kakashi while doing her own investigating in Konoha, Kishimoto probably just doesn’t want her around. He has gone through such lengths to sideline Naruto and Sasuke, he would certainly want Sakura out of the picture too. Even if his excuse is “she went out to find Sasuke” you really expect me to believe she didn’t find him within the year before he got tree-ified? Like you said, she’s a smart shinobi
I think a good possibility is that she's either not affected or in the same state as sasuke/shikamaru where she knows something is not what it seems. i like to think she's pretending to be fully affected while trying to collect as much info as possible to either relay to shika at the right time or to send out to kakashi. it seems like the happy medium between what readers would hope for and what kishi is realistically willing to do for her character. It's not so sakura positive that he wouldn't do it, but not completely leaving her out.

Honestly power wise, importance to the village and with fame across the ninja world Sakura is a clear choice for hokage. The lead would still have the strongest kage so something has to be going on with her because knowing the village elders and what they feel when selecting kage she is the clear choice
An unrelated question I have, is why hasn’t Sasuke ever left a shadow clone around to keep Sakura and Sarada company while he’s away on long missions and whatnot? I mean, he has a huge chakra pool and it would be child’s play for him to do so..hell..we’ve seen Naruto do it, and Kawaki to some degree. (When he tried to escape the village or whatever) but Sasuke never even bothers 😂

@@Ajsobrainsalot poor Sarada grew up and didn’t even know what her own father looked like as a adult or knew anything about him. It always bothered me bc that could’ve been easily remedied had he just left a shadow clone to spend time with her at the very least, and could’ve watched her grow and even train her. Had he had done that I think Sarada would be a bit stronger than she is now, bc she would’ve been taught by him at an earlier age and most likely would’ve awakened her sharingan earlier too. And also Sasuke wouldn’t have tried to kill her on sight🤷🏽♀️
because at the time he had a 6 tome rinnesharingan that was always active so it required a lot of chakra to maintain. So a shadow clone would only hinder him further because he was traveling around the world dealing with secret missions and looking for remnants for Kaguya’s Zetsu’s and wood clones to seal them away. He wasn’t tasked with this but did it to atone for his acts of terror against the village as a teen. Naruto also approved of him doing this, which is why he was never home. Hope that helps😅
@@TheBadGuy556 1 single shadow clone would not have been a problem at all for Sasuke. Even if he was using his RS, he has a daughter, the only Uchiha left, outside of himself. Looking for remnants of Kaguya and redeeming himself and whatnot is all fine and good. But he CHOSE to do that. He wasn’t tasked to do that, like you said. If he had more important things to do, rather than help raise and train his only child, then he should’ve done it first instead of knocking up Sakura and leaving her as a single mom. If he had trained Sarada while she was young, I doubt he would need Boruto to look after her, as she would be strong enough to handle herself already. I mean, he taught Boruto all the jutsu he knows but didn’t bother doing that with Sarada, and he could’ve if he at least left a shadow clone. You’d think with how long he’s been rivals with Naruto, he wouldn’t want Sarada to lag behind Boruto, or at least strive to be his equal.

I believe, whether Sakura was affected by omnipotence or not, Sakura will be on some training arc in Shikkotsu Forest as Sakura is one of, if not the most powerful person in Konoha after the events of Omnipotence. She would assess that she isn't strong enough and needs to improve to defend the people she loves. The best place for her to train would be Shikkotsu forest as that directly connects her to Lady Katsuyu and theoretically Slug Sage mode. She could get a major buff that catches her up or makes her relevant.
Why wouldn't it matter if she was affected? Because I don't see how that changes the fact that she needs to catch up:
Affected by Omnipotence: She questions why Sasuke and Sarada would betray their loved ones (Naruto for Sasuke and Kawaki for Sarada), this may even make her furious. But that doesn't change the fact that the people in the village need her to be strong enough to protect them, and no one other than the child of recently killed parents could claim to be strong enough to protect Konoha from Code/Isshiki level threats.
Unaffected (Resisted) by Omnipotence: She believes Sarada and Sasuke would never betray the ones she loved, and that she loved Boruto and not Kawaki. After seeing the world look down and threaten them, she realizes that she isn't strong enough to fight for them or the village. So she trains to be able to fight an Ōtsutsuki/Isshiki/Code level threat.

My opinion is that Sasuke rubbed off on Sakura, meaning that she’s in the background dojng some research on how Naruto “died” or at least what happened to him and her husband. She, and Sasuke, out of all people, knows Naruto is very hard to kill and doesn’t go down easily. And she knows the same about Sasuke. Also, she’s not dumb enough to just believe in a rumor, not if this magnitude, she’d have to see it with her own eyes to really believe it. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if Sarada has confided in her mother about the situation, and bc Sakura ain’t finna call her daughter no liar or whatnot, especially since Sasuke believed her, she would, without a doubt, look into things secretly. Especially bc Sasuke has been missing for at least a year now, minimum, and he wouldn’t do that without telling Sakura something first at the very least.
I could be wrong of course, and she could be lookin up at the moon or some shit just waiting around..but I think she knows something is amiss. Sasuke and Naruto are both gone, it’s up to her to find out SOMETHING or at least help in doing so
I really doubt she would leave her daughter behind, also if Sakura would be arrested Sadara would be as well. However since we see Sadara walking around free etc it's safe to assume Sakura is still around. I think one thing potentially is that she has been training Sadara on the side and potentially that her and Kakashi have been tasked with eliminating Sasuke as original team 7.
It would be great if female characters in Naruto had more than hype behind them but I get the feeling Sakura is just forgotten. They might bring her like 3 chapters from now when they remember she exists but not to really do anything.
If Sakura is immune and a rogue ninja she should be in the Forrest training to become a slug sage like Hashirama most likely did.

I’m still hoping that Sakura was either not affected or was able to easily break out of omnipotence once Sarada got to her due to her chakra control. It would make a lot of sense for her to go straight to Kakashi once she figured out what was happening and somehow help break him out of it as well. It would be great to see that she and Kakashi understood what Sasuke was doing and have spent the last 3 years training Sarada for what’s to come. It would also make sense that neither of them would try to break or convince others to not alarm Kawaki, Eida, and Daemon since they’d know they wouldn’t be a match without Boruto in full power. And if Kakashi is training here, there is no way he wouldn’t get Might Guy to help, which would explain Sarada’s leg warmers design. And it’s exciting to think Sarada might be a student of Sakura, Kakashi, and Might guy!
I would argue that if tKakashi and Sakura broke themselves out, they may not have told Sarada... judging by her incredible delicacy with Shikamaru of storming in his office to tell him Boruto is innocent. She may try to drag them into the arguments and instead seem both like the type to prefer the sneaky approach.

@@matthewgilbert6465 Well, this is stated in the early episodes... But it's not JUST Chakra Control per say, she's just genetically gifted with Genjutsu to that much of a degree. Which is why Tsunade thinks she'd surpass her- Her chakra control paired with a latent untapped Genjutsu talent that makes her almost immune to Genjutsu that she never hones. And Kakashi notes this and never sends her to Kurenai, which is funny to think that she has ALL THIS stated potential in Genjutsu but hasn't used any.
I feel like Sakura will help Sarada fight sasukes clone, it’s going to give her feats putting her in the top tiers of the show… and the fanbase is not going to like it

It's crazy because Sakura in the war arc was shown to be on par with BSM Naruto and EMS Sasuke. She should be stronger than current Naruto and Sasuke.

So i tried out the Kaguya theory and tried to stick to canon AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE when I roleplayed with my friends, after some planning. It is, possible. It may seem funny, but when you put that character into the situation laid out, and play it out, while calculating all of the canon moments+ fillers, rp comes in handy, you get to explore in their eyes and see if it IS possible. Many fans of Naruto actually roleplay, so it's not rlly outta the question, many Wikis come from Canon+roleplay.

I really liked Kaguya's karma theory, it would make a lot of sense even considering his participation in this moment too. One theory I've been thinking about is that maybe Sarada's MS has Kotoamatsukami or something like that. Instead of genjutsu, the user has a very strong power of “influence” over the affected person, making them think they made the decisions. It would make a lot of sense if that was what turned Sasuke and Shikamaru off of Eida's technique. Maybe even Sumire is immune due to something similar, Sarada might have already awakened the MS at some point before the “tragedy” when he was with Sumire. An MS technique that used the voice would make sense too, thinking that she would be hokage someday, the “power of the voice” would make a lot of sense for a hokage in times of peace.
That would actually make sense Sakura is a otsutsuki and that would make sarada a partial otsutsuki that’s why sarada wasn’t affected to omnipotence 🤔

Sarada didn't get immunity to omnipotence from Sasuke, it had to have came from Sakura, and for once, she firmly decided that she wasn't with the bullshit and wasn't going to wait for Sasuke or Naruto to lead her.
