Fun fact: Kishimoto's wife wanted Naruto to marry Sakura. But became outraged when Naruto married Hinata.

Well, Kishimoto said Neji died to push forward Naruto and Hinata's relationship, so if Naruto and Sakura were together the writers probably (hopefully) would have found a way to keep Neji alive.

@kh-freack i never thought of that. I would hope that kishimoto would come up with something else, but if not then probably. Though, the side branch hyuga are supposed to protect the main branch hyugas, so maybe he would die anyways. It would all depend on whether Kishimoto kept the stick part.

@@dani.rose_ The Hokage, and the other Kage's for that matter, have always been portrayed as having a lot of paperwork. That's the downside of being a dictatorship/autocracy/Junta.
What always got me however, was that Naruto didn't absolutely abuse the hell out of his shadowclones for doing the paperwork. I would have made like 100 of them and relaxed, only dealing with things that needed personal attention like delegations.
But I do agree with what the OP said, I do think Sakura would be better at reigning in Naruto to be at home, considering she's able to be there for Sarada despite her being just as busy as Naruto.

You left out the fact that Shikamaru & Sai guilt tripped & gaslit Sakura into believing that all the stress he was enduring to get Sasuke back was all because of the promise he made her years ago. So that’s why she did what she did.
But thats not entirely untrue. Although Naruto found his own reasons, that promise he made to her was the beginning of that entire plot point. Naruto was a naive kid that wanted to help people. He also had a crush on her. He could not refuse her crying and begging him to do her a favor. Not blaming him for simping cause he was a kid. But shes not innocent here and she even admits that.
And then Naruto was like, “Nah, you’re not allowed to stop liking Sasuke, ugly Sakura.” _REJECTED!_
Maybe Naruto subconsciously liked having that promise as an excuse to keep chasing Sasuke.
I'd love a conversation between Sakura and Kakashi, before the confession, where she expresses how distraught she is with the constant danger Naruto is in because he's desperate to get Sasuke back. And she realizes she's been thinking much more about Naruto's safety than Sasuke's return. Kakashi points that out as well. That's when she realizes she cares about Naruto more more and confesses her feelings. Naruto doesn't give up on Sasuke, but understands Sakura's feelings aren't out of the blue, they've been building up for a while. By the end, I don't agree Sasuke should die, but he should be exiled from the village. In a final conversation between him and Sakura, where she escorts him out (mirroring the time she begged him to stay), she tells him his actions have consequences. Naruto's unconditional love for his best friend (and reincarnated brother) seems to forgive it all, but she won't. The village won't. She bids him goodbye and says he should work on being a good person, and maybe he'll meet someone who loves him along the way. Konoha might have failed the Uchiha, but his own choices made it the last living Uchiha someone who brought only pain to the world. And then he's left to break the cycle of hatred on his own.

The potential versatility of their kid would be insane. Imagine if they could store nature energy instead of their own chakra in the 100 healings seal. That way they wouldn’t have to use clones or have prep time to meditate. Also, with better chakra control, they’d definitely be able to make a new type of rasengan

The end of the final valley fight would go something like this: Sakura would stop Sasuke's bleeding, not heal his wounds, but certainly stop the bleeding, and that's when she says to him, "This is a final mercy I can give you, as a former teammate and someone I used to love." Because it will also be in that moment that she realizes that she actually loves Naruto, like, for real loves him. She would think back to the fake relationship and notice all of the times his goofball antics made her laugh, and how much she just enjoys spending time with him.
It would be the decisive moment when she cut ALL ties to Sasuke - permanently.
Who tf is that ? That surely ain't Sakura's character and it shows you simply skip over the whole war arc and delude yourself into thinking Naruto would ever reach Sasuke's level of game and appeal

She does acknowledge how much Naruto has grown and part of her "confession" does hold some truth on the way she thinks about Naruto despite how it's fake. In databooks, she sees how much Naruto has grown from being a goofball into a reliable person. And I mean I'm pretty sure that Sakura does internally think that Naruto is funny in the first chapters she met Naruto, that is about the prank Naruto prepared for Kakashi and was lowkey encouraging it
I don’t care for these usually but wondered what a Naruto and Temari duo would be like. Both wind styles, Naruto short range fighter, Temari long range fighter. Both are strong personalities and the dynamic of Naruto being brothers by marriage with Gaara would be really cool and make their friendship even stronger by giving them mutual family members to bridge them together.

Honestly Naruto has too much of a personality for that. Temari is the typical older teen who dates younger teens and bosses them around, she needs someone like Shikamaru. Or Hinata, but Hinata is a bit TOO submissive and would just disappear into the relationship

That would've been neat. Also Temari would've been a good Yin to Naruto's Yang, personality-wise. As you said, both have strong personalities, but in a different way. And, yeah, the Wind Art Techniques Boruto could use would be insane. Boruto would be to Wind Arts what Tobirama was to Water Arts.
Also the connection between Village would be even stronger I honestly find Naruto and Ino would have worked the best with Ino being the nicer Sakura and never actually hating him just dislike-ing or less like more okay with who he is
You know, you're description of Naruto/Sakura's child sounded eerily similar to how one would describe Hashirama, but without the Wood Style lol. Large chakra pool, sage mode, ungodly mastery of chakra control (Which, to me, ties into the idea of how Senjus are knows for their ability to master just about everything), very strong and super fast, and the Byakuya seal allowing the child to have a version of Hashirama's healing factor.
They would be a Senju under a different name.
Ooh, very true. Now imagine if they name their kid "Hashi". It means chopsticks (for eating ramen), and bridge (of which one is named after their father), and would coincidentally be short for Hashirama, as a nod to that similarity. Works on a bunch of levels :D

People really didn't watch the anime to witness any of it which is why their views are missing context.

The biggest reason Why I would have loved to have Naruto end up with sakura is for one it would be way more entertaining to watch on screen, but most importantly We would have been able to see the family that Naruto never got with minato and kushina, with Sakura being so similar to Kushina.

But her behaviour with naruto was violent and dissapointment mostly. Doubtful she'd actually be a calm wife to him as well.
If the hypothetical kid from thulis was as book smart as Sakura was presented as in the early parts of Naruto, they would also probably be able to achieve levels of ninjutsu competence similar to the Third Hokage as well. The key to that is just rout learning after all.
So then you have massive Chakra pool, top tier Chakra control, and a ninjutsu library on hand that would be absurdly massive.
But they would be no where near as strong as Boruto, sarada, and himawari

A Naruto and Sakura kid would be easily the physically strongest character ever, more chakra to put behind the attacks with his mother's seemingly inherited perfect chakra control. That child would be insane. The child wouldnt have any crazy special powers but would be OP on the most basic levels. Having the seal of 100 men and sage mode plus being able to summon two great summoning animals. probably be able to go even further than just that. This child would probably be able to shape the rasengan into different shapes not just into a perfect ball but a cube or triangle HECK a rhombicosidodecahedron with that insane amount of charka control. Think they would’ve been a great ship. I think it would’ve showed great character development if around that Land of Iron arc she actually stuck with the realization of how far gone Sasuke was and that she couldn’t love someone like that. Then throughout the series they continued the development of her feelings and thoughts of naruto. Like when they saw each other for the first time after the time skip and she was blushing, and then the bridge scene (where naruto lost control of kurama), the Pain arc when she hugged him and Sai telling her that basically Naruto still has feelings for her. Not to mention the kushina flashback which and she said “marry someone like me”. The first time Kushina met Naruto she bonked him on the head lol. There was so much there and I think kishimoto was trying to leave room for either ship until the end.

The most likely case is her becoming the head of the Hyuga Clan and taking her role more seriously, probably in the resemblance of how Naruto strove to become Hokage.
Hinata will be at the moon married to an Otsutsuki.

I feel like that kid would reasonably be able to surpass both parents. Not as much chakra as Naruto but still greater than most people on the planet. Doesn't have a bijuu to heal and give enhanced strength but could learn to heal and the strength technique from Sakura. Put sage mode on top of that and you have a monster.

Imagine this Sage mode, Byakugou Seal, Flying Raijin with the Karma Marking. Naruto and Sakura strength, chakra control and pool….I would see Boroto as a UNIVERSAL threat. He would train to use all those techniques. Karma would be given to him but he’d probably learn to use it much faster. If he receives a tailed beast from maybe breaking up the other 10 tail beast and give himself the strongest beast. That would be Naruto on steroids.
Sakura did see naruto after time skip and was like oh he’s cute af

Look, you guys can put it as you want, facts still remain. Naruto and Sakura is the only coherent and well-builded couple on this show. By miles, the most beautiful and well written one. One of Naruto's peak scenes is the "promise of a lifetime" scene. He drew a fake smile on his face just for her. The pain Naruto must have felt at that moment is enormous (remember we were coming from the hospital scene, where even Tsunade noticed how much Naruto loved Sakura and the pain he was in for it). But the things Sakura started to do for him the moment Part II starts. My god...
One of Sakura's main themes on Shippuden was "the things I can do for Naruto" (Yamato scene, Sakura healing Hinata after the Pain confession, etc). This woman was worried sick for this guy, poor thing. She only wanted to protect him, take care of him and give back everything he'd done for her. She cared so much for him and still all she ever thought is that she could do nothing for the guy she had come to admire and love so much. She cared so much she even resolved to kill the man she loved just to protect Naruto's feelings. WHAT THE HELL, SAKURA. How brave, complex of a character, must one be to try and do such thing? Of course this "I can't do enough for him" arc comes to a perfect conclusion when she finally saves his life by CPR. A scene that of course, has great similarities to that one from the chuunin exams where she was ready to fail just to protect Naruto's dream. Just amazing story-telling. The things they did for each other are immense.
And then The Last comes and we are supposed to believe that ALL of this just never happened? That all of this was just somewhat of a rivalry with Sasuke or whatever crap they came up with? That was SO unrespectful to the story and to the fandom. Eat shit.

From a plot perspective, your hypothetical presumes that Sakuras confession is still fake and that Naruto just goes along with it. My biggest issue with this is that Sakuras confession shouldn’t have been fake- every episode leading up to that confession is infused with introspection and flashbacks that provide evidence for Sakura authentically falling in love with Naruto. Then we just get betrayed with another reason to hate Sakura…I really wanted that confession to be real. Hell, Naruto could have still rejected her or said “I love you too but I’m not turning my back on my friend”
But the fact that Naruto sacrificed himself for her time and time again and she is still in love with her first teenage crush who has done nothing but bully her makes no sense at all

If he went along with her confession he either wouldve been drugged asleep like the rest of her team or sent back home while she went to assassinate Sasuke solo. She then wouldve hesitated and Kakashi being to slow to save her in that moment and no Naruto to rush in and save the day, wouldve been merc'd right then and there. Plot-wise, I can agree that nothing much actually changes except the fact that Hinata would be really sad, the fact that Sasuke may not have children since he didn't seem particularly close to any women in his life, and the Jōgan not existing because Boruto not existing. Hypothetically, I think Naruto and Sakura's family life would be busy with them having such important job positions. Sadly, their children would have even MORE limited time with both parents compared to Boruto and Himiwari. That could be the source of intense family drama and tension if worse comes to worse. The hypothetical children's combat power and overall intelligence (combat and book-wise) could be insane though. If those children had Naruto's Uzumaki chakra pools on top of Sakura's masterful chakra control their battle attrition and damage output could be devastating. It would be akin to be able to compress the explosive elements of a missile into a surgical scalpel without losing any of that power. And that's not even counting them potentially learning Sage Mode, the shadow clone training technique, Rasengan and its variants, and the Byakugō seal. If that stars aligned correctly and the children trained correctly the children could become akin to Multiple Tsunade Senju's zipping around the battlefield that could heal others from the brink of death, whip out an vast arsenal of Rasengans,obscure

Everyone is missing the coolest outcome of a Naruto and Sakura child. Naruto's taijutsu prowess plus Sakura's strength. Imagine the kind of blitz Naruto hit Sasuke with but where each punch hits like a fucking truck. They wouldn't even need the chakra control and pool.
Hinata stalked Naruto and almost never said a word to him while everyone hated and ignored him.
I got an interesting Hypothetical. TenTen was made weaker then she was meant to be because Lee and Neji didn't die when they were supposed to. And Sai wasn't meant to be apart of Team 7 in Shippuden, but TenTen herself. And it would make sense story wise.
With Sauske gone and Neji and Lee dead, Tenten was meant to move over to team 7 with Naruto and Sakura. And a story for Tenten could easily be made. She want't to get revenge on Kidomaru and Kimimaru for killing her squadmates back during the konoah crush arc. Then later on, would have to fight against an Edo Tensied Neji and Lee.
Which could lead to some more interesting things during the war arc. The Neji there was supposed to be an Edo Tensei Neji, and seeing the danger coming towards Hinata and Naruto, and knowing that he doesn't have a lot of time left as an Edo Tensei, he steps in the way to take the blow for Naruto and Hinata. Then for Guy. What if Night Guy was never supposed to happen, but an Edo Tensei 8th gate Lee was meant to try and take down Madara instead, but fail.

Your scenario is kinda complicated because if Sakura or Naruto kills sasuke during the final valley than their kinda screwed considering the fact they actually needed both Sasuke and Naruto in order to release the Tsukuyomi, along with the fact that naruto isn't really that cold hearted since his goal in the world was yes to bring sasuke back but also have the whole world acknowledge who he really is instead being seen as some monster. Killing sasuke would just go back on the years of dedication to bring him back along with Naruto himself saying in the first valley(as children/Teens) that Sasuke and his Bond where the greatest/ closest than anything ever before and to change that just because his wish to be with sakura was achieved that alone would take time to get over.

As outlined on the NaruSaku wiki (yes, the ship is popular enough to have it's own wiki), the most common setup currently shared by most fans (seemingly) is that they have at least three children: Shinachiku, the eldest son, Hanami, the middle daughter, and Arashi, the youngest son. Shinachiku tends to get the majority of development in the fan works, hence he would probably best fit the description you gave. Personality wise, thry vary from person to person, but Shinachiku is often said to be similar to his grandfather, Minato, but with flashes of his mother's temper. Hanami is often written as papa's girl who shares her father's goofy light-hearted demeanor as well as his mischievousness, plus she admirers hervwlder brother and at times has, again, her mother's temper. Arashi tends to be a grumpy kid who gets easily embarrassed and rarely has negative things to say. He even seems to have his own verbal tic, "dattebare", that he tries to suppress since he thinks it's silly.
You forgot... who ever the child was could also inherit Minatos speed/Genius. So Sakuras strenght and control, Healings Seal, Some percent Narutos Chakara pool, add in the fllying raijin and genius level jutsu learning.. A character with high regeneration, high access to chakura who hits in taijustu like a truck and is so fast it might as well be considered space time jutsu, access to sage mode who doesn't actually need to use flashy justu to do damage so cant be deflected or defeated by justsu canceling/reflection ability. Otsosuki getting punted into next week.

With the way you described their kid at the end of this video, one thing becomes clear above all else: They'd be born with a chakra disease, no doubt about it.
Karin did not refill Tsunade's chakra, she just gave her enough so she could recover. After receiving the chakra boost from Karin, Tsunade's byakugou which was fading before resealed itself with the little chakra Karin gave her and Tsunade was able to start healing the kage more efficiently. She basically just refilled her base reserves and so Tsunade's vitality returned so that she could start molding her own chakra without using the byakugou seal as it was already fading from her forehead. The seal still needs some chakra to be present or else it will disappear completely until it has some chakra to reform it(not to fully restore it at 100%).
On that note, let's be honest, Tsunade is the only woman in the whole anime who actually had good chemistry with Naruto

I truly feel that NaruSaku was one of the most developed relationships that could have been used for the end game. Naruto and Sakura’s friendship throughout shippuden is overlooked. It always felt like they were only growing closer together, for example Yamamoto being able to tell Sakura deeply cared for Naruto, or the moment they shared after Nagato revived the leaf village. The amount of times they expressed nothing but concern for one another. This isn’t even to mention the dynamic they shared matched that of Minato and Kushina (whether that’s cliche is up to you).We know from the data books that Sakura did have some feelings towards Naruto she couldn’t explain, and obviously they shared a deep connection. They were developed enough that their relationship growing into something more made sense. However whats really unfortunate is that Kishimoto had a chance to redeem sakuras character by allowing her the maturity to get over Sasuke. NaruHina is fine, it works but SasuSaku is so toxic and gross. Sakuras continued infatuation with Sasuke, after everything he did not just in general but to her personally, is awful to see. In the end, I just felt that Naruto and Sakuras bond was at the very least one of the more fleshed out friendships. I just wished we could have gotten to see if it would have worked.

Starting at 16:05, it's stated that Sarada has her mom's strength, but not her chakra control because of her lack in medical skills. I always thought that the same level of chakra control was needed for those strength feats and medical ninjutsu, given that only Tsunade and Sakura can do these. By this logic, the strength control is a lower level skill that medical ninjutsu, but higher than most other ninja can achieve.
