Goodness, what a trip! I am a fairly new subscriber, so I haven’t seen everything you have posted for the past three years, but I hope I come across pictures of the highlights for your trip along with what you wore. Scotland, England and Ireland are my dream destination for a vacation. I also hope I find advice for older women. I am 73 , so I stay home a lot. I need clothes for staying home, mostly. I do go to town fairly often as well as church, out to eat, sometimes a movie, and to visit my kids, grandkids and great grandchildren. We have a one year old great granddaughter and her mother in the house with us, so I have to play on the floor a lot with a very active child. My clothes MUST be mostly machine washable! I get almost as dirty as the baby does when she eats. She always touches me with food on her hands . No matter how often we wipe her off, there’s always something stuck somewhere on her which easily transmits itself onto me. I am enjoying you videos and am considering joining the group you are putting together right now.
Thank you for this. I'm headed to Scotland late winter/early spring for 9 days. You clothing selection process is really going to help me fine tune and get organized as I look at my itinerary. Be well!
This was Terrific! Great planning, Great outfits, Great cluster choices! ♥️♥️
Really help ful, thank you. Enjoy your trip☺
I am bringing denim jacket, a windproof/waterproof jacket, a black dressy jacket, a thin down vest, several pairs of leggings, hoodies, turtleneck shirts, tunics and 2 dresses. My outfits are in multiple colors, I bring scarves, baseball caps, sunglasses, a pair of sandals for hotel indoor, a pair of roper cowgirl boots packed in my suitcase and I wear a pair of roper cowgirl boots on travel days and throughout my sightseeing.
So much agree with black-white-red travel wardrobe! With this default combo on trip after trip, the neutrals form a helpful base, & red keeps me from getting bored.
Such helpful advice as always. Enjoy your trip to Scotland. Next time you might make it over to see us in Northern Ireland!
I really enjoyed your video. 🤩⭐️
Thanks for Sharing! 👍🏼💕
Greetings from Albania. 🇦🇱
I’m Scottish and people are so friendly there although you may have trouble with the accent sometimes. We have mixed weather in Spring/Summer but you have checked beforehand so should have it all covered. Hope you have a great time.
This was really great! Such cute outfits! I wish you had one of these for a summer casual European vacation. I’ll have to hunt for such a video.
I did that video a couple of weeks ago! Travel Capsule for Europe!
@@NadaManley oh great! I will check it out. Thanks!
A lot of those country hotels have wellies that guests can borrow, it’s worth checking first. Also some brands, Hunter?, make packable rainboots now. I think a low-heeled to flat smooth leather Chelsea boot would work instead, especially a waterproof one, like from Aquitalia and similar brands.
What’s the name of the app you used for planning your outfits? That sounds like it would be very helpful!
Which trips are you taking this summer? And which of these packing tips will you use?
Tip #1. You can add neutrals. They don’t count!
I have a question please.. i will move to scotland and i dont really how it feels to live there in terms of cold and hot days .. i want to know if i can wear shorts and summer outfit at home at least when i go there ? Or is it really winter clothes all the year ?
if you are moving to Scotland you will have plenty of opportunity to experience the weather for yourself. It's not as if you are going to be restricted to using only the clothes you bring with you. We do have shops where you can actually purchase suitable clothing. We do also have some sunny says 😊
If Puffins Cliff is on the water it might be colder.
It totally was but SOOOO amazing! Just breathtaking!
Good luck luggage lots stuff you can buy there cheap dressy
Thank you!! We loved it!
Why don’t you do a post-trip video and let us know how this wardrobe works out? I think the blazer is too dressy for the country portion of your trip, ok for Edinburgh, and there are not enough versatile tops.
And show pics of the outfits you wore there.
👍👍👍👍👍😻😻😻😻😻💕💕💕💕💕
When you get back, you will be saying Edin-bur-a and afternoon tea, not Edin-bu-ro and high tea.
Rubber boots or booties on the plane? Hot sweaty feet. Something breathable is better.
