@@JohnFourtyTwo ...no? "Spilling the tea" is just newer slang from the younger generation, even in the States. "Spilling the beans" is a little older fashioned. They also have slightly different connotations; spilling the tea is more gossipy, while spilling the beans might just be about a secret.
